Not sure what the best bet here is. I think this could be a lengthy match just as easily as it could be an easy win for Federer. Australian Open 2011 between these two went to five sets, and that would not surprise me in this match either. But, Simon has had two lengthy matches and could be tired. I think he'll put up a bit of a battle though, and so +9 games at 1.8s seems nice odds.

simon hasn't had two lengthy matches, he's play 9 sets in the last 4 days but they were relatively quick sets

2 tb's and then 63 62 62 62 61 61 61

Two five set matches = two lengthy matches

lengthy = time spent on court, 4 sets can be quicker than 3 depending upon the set time

A couple of weeks ago in Rome it was a bit of a training hit for Federer, market seems to be expecting nothing different in this match, but you would think Simon might be more focused here in France.

I think that their Rome meeting is more indicative of how this one will play out. It is more recent and Federer is more in form now. True, Simon is at home. I still think this will be over fast.

I agree with Nicol, Federer being in Slam form is more important than Simon playing in front of the home crowd
