Baghdatis played very well against Paire and asked him all sorts of questions, but Paire came through. Nishikori played OK against Zemjla for the first set and a half, then went from 4-1 up (double break) in the second to lose the set 7-5, he was absolutely terrible from then on and only won becasue of Zemjla's low level of play. As the OP has pointed out, Paire's results speak for themself, so on current form Paire deserves to be favoured to win this, but Nishikori is a sneaky guy who will feign injury and take MTO's to throw the other player off.
