so typical, no problem with his serve ever, losing tiebreak 2-7

Odds on Haas from 1.35 to 1.52.

querry is a horrific tennis player

Up on the other court the win just has to be sealed for Igor Sijsling. I didn't end up looking at any stats or any of the match, except for now that I'm waiting for Haas, (and I don't really know much about Sijsling) so I can't say which way I would have leaned. Good for him, though. I'm looking forward to seeing him play tomorrow.
It looks like up next, I'm playing to break even! Not my desired position for the night, but I'll take it. |

sijsling is like mueller but with one handed backhand
serve and volley mostly was big choker recently but he's not choking so often these days :( |

Tommy Haas has withdrawn
By:
take it ffs
By:
I think I can make out the word "larger" in his German right now. Withdraw possibly due to hangover.

Well done Sammy

They still give Tommy a trophy, that's nice
By:
The trophy is a giant **** and it is for being a giant ****.

Aw c'mon auto-censor. I meant like a rooster!

By:
No no, it's the fair play trophy for being a super cool dude

So I guess Monaco is my pick. He really needs a title, as his ranking is based on older wins and is set to drop to around the 40's in the coming months.
By:
monaco played good
By:
That should be motivation enough.
By:
What was the reason, and did he say anything about RG?
By:
He's slightly ill with a fever
By:
and he didn't say anything about RG, just that he's sorry for not being able to play today and that he decided to withdraw rather than play a lame set and retire.
By:
Querrey is such a mug
By:
ah ok, thanks. thought it was the hamstring or whatever it was he had issues with last week against youzhny.
By:
Well I might have time to check out another match before bedtime since Haas retired. Looking at Montanes and Mathieu over at ATP Nice. Close odds, and I'm not sure that I'm going to have a bet. I sort of did all of my prep for Dussledorf today.
By:
it's not in dusseldorf
By:
Yep, I wasn't sure where the conversation about it was.
By:
I'm going out tonight, so I will miss the first match and maybe the second. But here are my picks:
Monaco, Sijsling. What are yours? |
By:
thinking the same
By:
Monaco is in cruise mode and not faced any threat on his serve so far against Pella, should be over pretty soon by the looks of it.
By:
nice jinx :)
By:
Sijsling what a damn collapsing mug. 5-4 and serving for the set.... loses it 5-7
By:
^ studied from the same textbook as Bouchard
By:
Yeah pathetic tennis, but it's expected at Dussledorf! I'm expecting a mediocre 3 setter here.
