This is typical match between two players which are up and down huge from day to day. They both can beat top 15 any day in the week on clay but lose to anybody above 1000.
After great win against Del potro this can be just to match to beat Granollers who lead H2H 2:1 (1:1 on clay).

if seriously, then yes, more value is with granny but paire is much better player on his good day. but he's more inconsistent. i gonna watch it first. gonna lay him if he goes below 1.5 pre match. i'm expecting 3 sets here |

interesting prices alright, Paire is too low. He has had some impressive wins this week but did his opponents really care that much? G-P should be up for this IMO. Both are similar ranking and the winner will move into the top 30. Paire is never more than 5 mins away from playing like a mug, can't be trusted at that price.

paire's games this week have a pattern of one player going a break up and being broken back, so I'd expect a lot of swings in this and lay the player who goes ahead. Paire is always a lay when in front, not sure about 3 sets tho, they have never gone the distance.

The lay of the day has been correct the last few times, so I was on myself to follow the next one, but I can't lay Paire at 1.76.
-Paire has won more matches than Granollers this year. -Granollers beat Chardy in a 3 setter to get here, Paire topped (a slow, but trying nonetheless) Del Potro in 2, straight. Here is why I want you to ignore the Granollers-Paire h2h record: 2010 -Too long ago -Wasn't on clay Mid-2011 -At the time, Paire was ranked 120; Granollers 55. -Granollers = experienced; Paire = dumb kid. (Paire turned pro 4 years after Granollers) -Paire's MO back then was serving .5 first serves and winning .5 of his second serves. These numbers have been much better this week (but not last week, or the week before). In this match Granollers won by just hitting more first serves than Paire. The odds right now give Paire a 56% chance of winning this thing. I call it more at 65%-70%. |

i like paire. he's flashy, and he can go off for periods, but this sort of nishikori style aggression is a great foil to the pedestrian dirt balling of granollers.
