I dunno but maybe because cross matching only works at the equivalent odds, so 1.01, 1.02, 1.03, 1.04 but that is equivalent to 100, 55, 34, 26 that is 4 ticks on favourite all stuffed with money v about 25 ticks on the dog free for trading. 1 tick on favourite is a huge jump at those odds.

it might take 2 or 3 points in a row to get favourite's odds to move but they will move after every point on dog side

Disc you actually try to match it on dimi side, its often apperars as available and when you actually try to match it you will not. Odds goes beyond 1.01 it just doesn't appear so cross matching should be much more accurate
