there were reports  from polish sources about radwanska fitness issues . to me she was looking fcked in previous matches, and i think i mentioned that. overall radwanska had flu at dubai, her legs were taped in various places i thought she will recover till here but, she didnt looked very fresh in first match .then 3 sets against cristea and the way match went against kirilenko just confirming  all the gossips . i said before the match i wish kiri wins so she may get some rest before miami, but overall looks as a deep in the form caused by tiredness

Because she plays too many tournaments, but she has to do that to win her titles.

She prioritises mug events. So she plays Auckland dodging the tough field in Brisbane, turns up for Sydney where she knows the top 3 won't play. This in turn burns herself out for Australian Open because she has overplayed in the build up.

I actually agree that is the best strategy for her though, because it's better for her to leave Australia with 2 titles, than prioritise Australian Open where she has no chance anyway.

she plays mandatory tournaments as every player doest plus some others smaller but every top player is limited in those, her last year titles includes miami and dubai, year before beiing and tokyo, these arepremier mandatory tournaments. she won sydneyt which azarenka won last year.

Sydney was the bigger event thus the warmup of choice in previous years, but isn't anymore since Brisbane got upgraded to P700 thus none of the big guns will play in Sydney anymore. To me her team schedule in a way to trying and pick up as many titles as possible and don't seem to believe she can win grand slams right now.

Tennisforum isn't really that crazy, it's decent. Every thread just descends into a bitchfest between Sharapova fans and somebody elses fans.

who cares about sydney. auckland she played because its organized by her sponsor. "to me" is good point here as you need to get your facts right. from her last 7 titles she won when started to be one of top players, she won miami which is one of first of the prestigious after slams beating sharapova in final, she won tokyo beating azarenka zvonarieva she won bejing, dubai ,these are not bad titles at all.she was in wimbledon final already and it will happen again at some point when she will hit good form. btw every player trying to win titles whats wrong with that. its pointless discussion anyways here

I said it's the best thing for her career though. Hoover up the small titles, because it's maximising her ability? All her big titles come when majority of big guns weren't around. Her win over Sharapova at Miami probably the peak. Also Dubai is mug event.

Also it don't matter who organises Auckland, it's a terrible event to warm up for Australian Open, conditions are nothing like those in Melbourne. She faced zero opposition. Radwanska doesn't prioritise majors, how is she expecting to win one if she's not at her best? She always plays mug events the week before them.
