Qualifiers really have it better here and Miami than anywhere else. I mean they can't play anyone in the top 32 in the world. So they have a decent chance round 1. Look at some of the players the qualifiers play, mainly mugs or out of form players. In somewhere like Dubai, qualifiers face mission impossible from the off most likely.

Maybe it's just the matches I've seen, but Misaki Doi and Coco both out, Alexa Glatch out to a wildcard and Vogele struggled against another unknown.

That Tomljanovic is a fighter. I noticed a match of hers a few days ago where she came back from the dead I think.

the pack is quite tight ,market making someone fav doesnt mean there is actually that big gap between players, and also new tournamnet first match.... many factors, matches usually decided on details

Dolonc to win now from 1-6 1-4* 3040
couldnt lay 1.13 on bp there, amazing, really. betfair need to do something to get some punters over here, now. |

Coco did not surprise me at all. She has been garbage all year, has a terrible attitude, and can lose to anyone etc. Glatch wasn't even favourite to win her match. Doi vs MLDB always looked pretty much 50:50. Voegele yes.

hope you didn't miss jana's train

There is also as ;]p says. The odds are pretty much solely on ranking and form. If you know something others don't - say have seen some unknown play lots before you may have a big edge.

How long have the scoreboards been 2 points behind. Were never this bad a few years ago.

Mug Dolonc market well and truly punished.

3/1 against Woz in Copenhagen iirc - and that was after she had been playing brilliantly for months and battering people like Bartoli
|
|
By:
well its always like that if you know player quite well and can recognize their potential anfd form you will have succes

For example in Brazil last week. There was 16 year old Brazilian vs some other no-name, like 200 and something vs 400 and something in the world. The higher ranked was priced around 1.25, but got thoroughly outplayed and lost easily. If you'd ever seen them play, or knew what there level was like you would have been on to a gold mine.

Bartoli in Paris final no less

Dolonc market would and should really be licking its wounds right now, but with only £250,000 matched, that is one really punishment slightly avoided.

Yer jumping on peoples rises and declines is also the way. You were able to lay Wozniacki at all sorts of crazy prices vs various players last year.

Yes that was my point jin_kazz exactly. I had never seen her play before though, and the market clearly hadn't either, and was just guessing a price based on ranking. If you'd known there levels you could have made a lot on that match.
