Much better match for Serena versus Maria yesterday. She kinda has this look that says she intends to teach them both a lesson - for believing they had WTA stitched up in her absence. I think she's a sure thing this afternoon .... does this make me a fool ?

Hoping that Serena's mind goes walkabout like it did against Kvitova in 1st set to get some higher odds. Although when it gets down to the serious part of the match, there is no question imo that she will outserve and outhit Vika today as she normally has in previous encounters

I don't think Serena is anywhere near a sure thing here. Serena been average all week, even yesterday her performance was overrated. Serena 1.5x is correct for me.

Nothing is ever a sure thing (apart from when Federer is playing against me) but those odds on Williams look good whether she played average or perfect in her previous matches. This is a different day. I expected her to be around 1.50.

we all need to remember us open final, serena was on thevropes, she won but it wasn't that certain backt then huh. sharapova cant move like aza azarenka can defend much better than szazza and kivi, and can make shots as well she isnt easy opoonent for serena .last match at finnals aza has nothing in the tank to fight. but today is a battle who is no1 and both will fight a lot. it will be close match for sure
