not sure I agree totally with what Thierry Ascione said to Mlad during the changeover besides talking a lot - well, we are in France, coaches should speak a lot and keep the lix number high...
anyway (correct me you French guys out there if I'm wrong here), he said "surtout pas d'échanges, tu joues ton jeu...", meaning "no exchanges, you play your game", indicating that she should avoid baselining with the powerhitter but instead try and win the points. I get his point but I think Kvitova is making so many forced errors that baselining but still trying to take the initiative is not that bad... |

Kvitova has one game style, she doesnt change it. Thats part of the problem for her.
