I see no chance for Rybarikova here after watching her match against Razzano. Soft, weak shots, lots of errors. She's a talented player, but still has a lot to learn.

Are Errani and Vinci still in the doubles?
Report nofx January 31, 2013 4:07 PM GMT
yup
Report Srichaphan or Ancic? January 31, 2013 4:07 PM GMT
then yes, Errani should be motivated enough to win.
Report Tricktickler January 31, 2013 4:09 PM GMT
Errani = Ferrer. She just doesn't give up, cannot play less than 100% each match. Even if she lost doubles, she would be still able to win this match in my opinion.
Report Srichaphan or Ancic? January 31, 2013 4:10 PM GMT
sometimes
Report nofx January 31, 2013 4:10 PM GMT
think rybaryba showing some form actually and has a shot at a set on this court
Errani coming off two matches hardly 100%
Report bb66 January 31, 2013 4:10 PM GMT
Errani has to prove she's in last year's form
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:21 PM GMT
I think womens rankings count for very little outsdie the top 5
Report itfc87 January 31, 2013 4:22 PM GMT
Layed Errani at 1.3, H2H record is pretty competitive
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:22 PM GMT
as in...ranking counts very little for a likely outcome in a match up between 2 WTA opponents ranked below 5th
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:22 PM GMT
what's rybarikovas serving like
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:23 PM GMT
because erranis return game statistics are pretty impressive. over 50% of return games won
Report Srichaphan or Ancic? January 31, 2013 4:23 PM GMT
its alright.
Report itfc87 January 31, 2013 4:24 PM GMT
Rybarikova has some good variety to her game, matches up well with Errani
Report Srichaphan or Ancic? January 31, 2013 4:24 PM GMT
I think Errani will tire her out.
Report itfc87 January 31, 2013 4:25 PM GMT
Quite possibly, but I think Errani's worth a lay 1.3 early on
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:25 PM GMT
i agree S&A
Report Srichaphan or Ancic? January 31, 2013 4:25 PM GMT
Had she brought some cheese onto court, that would have distracted Errani, and she could then win.
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:26 PM GMT
these italians have GREAT energy! schiavonne and Erani especially
Report DStyle January 31, 2013 4:27 PM GMT
it looks an appalling match up to me itfc.

you've got to punch through errani, and it's possible on a quick court like this, but that's not rybarikova's game. errani will chase all the clever stuff down and wont put herself out of position like razzano did last night.
Report wooky January 31, 2013 4:28 PM GMT
Sara "golden set of shame" Errani should never be compared to Ferrer. Had a good run last year but isnt the same this year. Lost to Cibulkova and Navaro easily in Aus and although she won in the doubles, I didn't see her play too well on the doubles court either, Look at the standard of opposition in the final. Having said all that....she should win this Crazy
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:29 PM GMT
rybarikova is just getting winners smashed past her. erranis accuracy loooks decent so far (compared to average WTA standard)
Report hollywood85 January 31, 2013 4:29 PM GMT
she lives by the serve apparently
Report lurka January 31, 2013 4:30 PM GMT
i think errani has lost her boundless energy since the US Open
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:30 PM GMT

Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:30 PM GMT
rybarikovas face and lack of control over her deep shots says the word "tired" to me
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:31 PM GMT
very very smart
Report itfc87 January 31, 2013 4:31 PM GMT
Tired? After 2 games?!
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:32 PM GMT
yes, look at her face, sweating hard...plus you can tell shes out of breathe because she has no control over her shots.
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:33 PM GMT

Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:35 PM GMT

Report Tricktickler January 31, 2013 4:35 PM GMT
double bagel might be here
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:35 PM GMT
and by the way...Errani won that 2010 match...and she was nowhere near as good as she is now
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:36 PM GMT
having said all this...i dont think she will defy the laws of WTA...the laws of WTA conclude that no single WTA player will holdm omentum for the duratuion of the match! so...my question here is...when will errani lose her head temporarily?
Report DStyle January 31, 2013 4:37 PM GMT
rybarikova got a couple of wins over her before she started on the, ahem, gluten free diet.

i shouldn't pay too much attention to those results in 2006 and 2007
Report AZ91 January 31, 2013 4:39 PM GMT

They know the player has retired because she shook Errani's hand and walked off. They were obviously watching the match because they suspended the market.
Report Srichaphan or Ancic? January 31, 2013 5:05 PM GMT
Theyre faster at settling the markets than they used to be, so for me its not a major problem. Putting markets in play early is though.

I received said email too
Report Srichaphan or Ancic? January 31, 2013 5:16 PM GMT
Me too! Strange. A bit confusing if you didnt know there was a retirement, but not a bad idea to send an email for that type of thing though.
