Are Errani and Vinci still in the doubles?
By:
yup
By:
then yes, Errani should be motivated enough to win.
By:
Errani = Ferrer. She just doesn't give up, cannot play less than 100% each match. Even if she lost doubles, she would be still able to win this match in my opinion.

sometimes
By:
think rybaryba showing some form actually and has a shot at a set on this court
Errani coming off two matches hardly 100% |
By:
Errani has to prove she's in last year's form
By:
I think womens rankings count for very little outsdie the top 5
By:
Layed Errani at 1.3, H2H record is pretty competitive
By:
as in...ranking counts very little for a likely outcome in a match up between 2 WTA opponents ranked below 5th
By:
what's rybarikovas serving like
By:
because erranis return game statistics are pretty impressive. over 50% of return games won
By:
its alright.
By:
Rybarikova has some good variety to her game, matches up well with Errani
By:
I think Errani will tire her out.
By:
Quite possibly, but I think Errani's worth a lay 1.3 early on
By:
i agree S&A
By:
Had she brought some cheese onto court, that would have distracted Errani, and she could then win.
By:
these italians have GREAT energy! schiavonne and Erani especially
By:
it looks an appalling match up to me itfc.
you've got to punch through errani, and it's possible on a quick court like this, but that's not rybarikova's game. errani will chase all the clever stuff down and wont put herself out of position like razzano did last night. |
By:
Sara "golden set of shame" Errani should never be compared to Ferrer. Had a good run last year but isnt the same this year. Lost to Cibulkova and Navaro easily in Aus and although she won in the doubles, I didn't see her play too well on the doubles court either, Look at the standard of opposition in the final. Having said all that....she should win this

By:
rybarikova is just getting winners smashed past her. erranis accuracy loooks decent so far (compared to average WTA standard)
By:
she lives by the serve apparently
By:
i think errani has lost her boundless energy since the US Open
By:
for goodness sake, i had to jinx it
By:
rybarikovas face and lack of control over her deep shots says the word "tired" to me
By:
very very smart
By:
Tired? After 2 games?!
By:
yes, look at her face, sweating hard...plus you can tell shes out of breathe because she has no control over her shots.
By:
a good match up for Erani? are you sure?!
By:
i got 1.3 what a gift
By:
Previous meetings have been close
By:
will Rybarikova manage to win any game in this match?
By:
previous meetings? last meeting was 2010...who was she back then? a nobody
By:
double bagel might be here
By:
and by the way...Errani won that 2010 match...and she was nowhere near as good as she is now
By:
having said all this...i dont think she will defy the laws of WTA...the laws of WTA conclude that no single WTA player will holdm omentum for the duratuion of the match! so...my question here is...when will errani lose her head temporarily?
By:
rybarikova got a couple of wins over her before she started on the, ahem, gluten free diet.
i shouldn't pay too much attention to those results in 2006 and 2007 |
