yes i think i cried when that went in. when i saw it on tv a couple of years later the pass was from even further than i'd imagined Seedorf should make a good coach i'd think, very intelligent guy and probably the most underrated Dutch player that was one of my all time favourites Litmanen tried a comeback but alas. Davids going strong in some division in England now i wonder what happened to Finidi |

my brother still has that argentina v holland game on video
![]() that touch from the menace summed him up...genius..........Seedorf played at the emirates a few years ago against cesc and still looked the class act on the pitch...edgar davids was superb also...Always followed ajax, litmanen was a class act.superb goals..never got his chance at liverpool, not sure why. finidi george was part of that 4-3-3 ajax team that won the european cup...what happened to the old stadium? demolished? babangida was a poor mans replacement for finidi, speed merchant |

nice reminiscing
De Meer stadium was yes, have good memories from there as i was fortunate enough to kick the ball around with Jari himself there once ![]() it happens often that technical players like him, Litmanen, don't succeed in a physical league. not sure what role they gave him there too, that could have a lot to do with it. thought he went to Barca, this was before or after? |

Finidi was awesome, loved his touch. yeah Babangida doesn't even come close
|
|
By:
yes he did go to barca then liverpool...the dutch league has had some decent strikers...psv especially
think that was down to the phillips connections in brazil though. |
|
By:
yup at some point it was rather depressing as they kept coming up with Romarios and Ronaldo
you're Psv supporter? |

espn was showing ajax v milan last month from the de meer, european cup leg.ajax played them off the park. danny blind was captain, mr casual
|

By:
Nooooo, always been an ajax fan in holland..brother has a signed ajax shirt ..the old green one...the same one they wore v madrid at the bernebau years ago..they thrashed madrid
|

By:
saying that zatlan and suarez not a bad two to compare with romario and ronaldo...a poor comparison but not bad
|
|
By:
good
![]() Blind, he's not my fav. after his career as a player anyways, way too casual and just striking up bonuses for very little input. not really Ajax best interest at heart more pushing his overhyped son into the squad Suarez i love to watch him, someday he'll play at a more decent team and get some credit for his sublime touch rather than biting ears off and whatnot |

Suarez for me is the top forward in the league...he was even playing at left back defending last night...scores goals, assists, defenders **** themselves when he is in the box, RVP scores some great goals at important times but I like suarez as the whole package (Man U fan) |
