it's a strange strange price harry.
it's as though azarenka has got an injury concern, which we all know she hasn't. li's got the toolkit to beat her, but that's not a guarantee that she'll use it properly or consistently enough today to get the win. plenty of time to re-evaluate in play, but aza shouldn't be bigger than 1.5 pre off. |

I think we could look back on this after the match and think 'what a huge price' but then if someone knows something we dont you could look a right tit
 Not looked at the h2h but I think aza has a good record v li na. you can see a lot of breaks of serve. We know aza will get a lot more balls back and with it being a final I can see Li na having one of them erratic matches...the movement of azarenka if not injured should force enough errors...her serve hasnt looked very good though and li na can take advantage of that. |

all this talk of no injury, i'm not saying she has one today, but the MTO was taken for a genuine injury whatever it was but it may not have affected her at the time it was taken. At 2-0 second set the comms were talking about Aza not moving well and having something wrong with her, she even said it herself that she should have called it earlier. No doubt that the timing of the MTO was to upset Stephens, but it wasn't a non-existent injury imo. have a look a the match thread

it was taking for nerves,anxiety...she abused he mto ruling..she could hardly ask to go off for a nervous injury

she was moving very well and never once looked injured..she turned an ankle at one stage which was not a problem...complete faker

I think the price is because Li has already knocked Azarenka out of both slams they previously met in and Li's form is really good right now.

sorry yes you are right it was the ankle I remember now, she was moving slowly for a couple of games maybe, but she was fine after say 2-2 and covering the whole court and only took the MTO for a non-existent rib injury/nerves at 5-4. There is no way her breathing was affected the way she was covering the court as I recall it. Breathing may have been affected by nerves but only momentarily on match points.
Li Na under rodriguez is better than she was in 2011 IMO |

agree Li Na looks in great form...not as many errors and she is striking the ball clean..azarenka will get a lot more balls back that sharapova.should be a match with lots of twists...not sure we will see many holds of serve

Has anything been said about interruption for fireworks yet? It's Australia Day today and they usually interrupt play for the fireworks, which are scheduled for 9.40 pm (two hours after match start). Could come handy for Aza's nerves
