i think that makarova will take at least a set. saw her matches and she's playing really good i think
small pre-match lay of kerber for me and i'll lay 1st set winner. (kerber plays very unstable in second set when she wins first set and makarova is a well known choker)

What was this match like in the first half? Did Kerbs seem to be overpowering Makarova then too, or has Makarova got a little timid?
Start of it Kerber looked pretty off. Couldn't even make a shot but worked her way back into the set and she's now as you see.

It's quite shocking the number of professional, highly paid athletes that have been injured at these championships. Does their money and preparation not stretch to sports science, etc.

What's your problem Suzy? This is sport. When a sportsperson does well, they get huge adoration and get their faces plastered across every paper, and their names being called out in triumph by everybody in their country.

was not injured, only braininjury - this mto was only tactic, but without any brain, its not possible to win a match.
Lord Bobbin, imo she was injured and hugely dissapointed hence she was crying or maybe of her pain. She was not stupid. It was

She didn't lose that through injury. (She actually called for the trainer and *then* served brilliantly for a game before getting treatment.) She lost because she made poor choices of shot at key points, and made too many unforced errors.
And you're the one who, by her own admission, has made money out of somebody being injured. How sporting is that?

Her service speed was only 120 usually 150. Yes,i made money but thats nothing to do with your insults against her.
You could see she had back problems when serves and smashes.
Think I'm quite entitled to say she made poor choices of shot and too many UEs. She had Makarova virtually broken but didn't finish her off. We've certainly seen people with more significant injuries making a much better fist of things at these championships. Simon and Hampton in the last 24 hours alone...
Imo this poor choices and unforced errors were due to her physical problems. But lets face it we have different opinions on this one.
