i think that makarova will take at least a set. saw her matches and she's playing really good i think
small pre-match lay of kerber for me and i'll lay 1st set winner. (kerber plays very unstable in second set when she wins first set and makarova is a well known choker)

I don't think Kerbs is going to give Makarova as many chances to close things (game; set; match) as Bartoli did. The Bartoli match was a choking nirvana, and Makarova almost blew 5-0 lead in the third set. Rollercoaster - yes, chance for multiple swings - yes. But Kerbs would have to play poorly to lose this.

Makarova seems to do farly well in Melbourne for some reason, made it to the 4th round in 2011 where she lost to Clijsters and to the quarterfinals last year where she lost to Shazza (Makarova beat Serena in R4).
Kerber never made it to R4 here before. |
