Lost Greece and Germany, Spain severely limited..

The time difference and the AUS wallet are also factors.
I'm sure the Open will be fine. |

if you look 1 year back same time liquidity was much much better,as it is now its not possible to trade, some small price lay for fun.Benefit is that market press leader very hard and you can find value lay easier.... |

surely will be better :) but i'm afraid that government restrictions in many countries may affect that. not sure how it will be in Portugal, but looks like we'll be restricted too :s

Aus wallet. Plus streaming being sporadic. Plus time of matches. I ain't judging this week by the season to come; I certainly hope it picks up anyway.

This week is normal the low liquidity,
VT90 what did you read about the restrictions in Portugal? |
|

Low liquidity? The snooker Munich Open last week was LOW liquidity

i heard a few months ago that they were studying online games (poker, casino, sports betting) wich led to the creation of Anaon.. since the beginning of 2013 lucky games of "Santa Casa" started to the taxed at 20 %.. this make me think some legislation is about to come to sports betting, and if they follow the tendency of other european countries portuguese traders could be in trouble

smb360 if you look 1 year back same time liquidity was much much better,as it is now its not possible to trade, some small price lay for fun.Benefit is that market press leader very hard and you can find value lay easier.... anything to back that up? because a quick look at two representative matches, and i don't see any difference. the truth is that matches played between about 01:30 and 05:30 GMT in Australia on non televised courts attract absolutely fack all liquidity. and that applies for the Australian Open as well. same thread, every year. |

here's a good example:
Kuz vs Goerges yesterday: started at 02:30, three sets, loads of excellent trading opportunities, kuz went VERY low in the third before wobbling which should push up total matched, £90,813 Barthel vs Barty: started at 12:10, three sets, total matched: £1.2 million. |

DStyle is exactly right, I had a look at some figures for ATP matches in same tournies last year and the turnover is comparable. Chennai final pre match this year even had twice as much matched in the H2H market than last year.

wea are not talking about 1 match,we are talking about week 1,ok?

Did you read what I wrote swebih?
I am not going to put all the figures from last year and this year up on here, but they are comparable. |

Worst bit about the money in these Australian markets is that so much of it hits the market and is cancelled within two seconds.
|
|
By:
correct and then you read betfair are thinking of increasing the bet placement on horse racing from 1second to 3 fkin laughable
|
|
By:
it has been difficult to trade until today.. markets are weird, hoping next week will be better
|
|
By:
those in aus can submit prices before the point and then cancel that's why you don;t get matched most of the market makers in between points are in aus
|

no one trades tennis in the first few weeks of the year for obvious reasons after AO the atp events will have normal liquidity

Worst bit about the money in these Australian markets is that so much of it hits the market and is cancelled within two seconds. it's not unique to australian markets - you'll see it on all markets, particularly evident on non-televised courts. it's one person, on all the markets, hoovering on updates with fill or kill orders. the stakes are dynamically sized based on liquidity. |

denmark also banned from australian matches...

I want to rejoin BetFair, but don't feel like paying the 1.5% deposit fee for Visa and Mastercard.
|
|
By:
you can use Moneybookers for free
|
|
By:
CCT use a debit card and you get the 1.5% back shortly after depositing. I have noticed that there is no money moving on the dog side of the market in these Aus tourneys, always on the player below 2.0 and when the market flips it switches to the other side, which is trange. But we will see in AO, it is probably due to the time of these matches in Aus.
