They beat Paes & Stepanek in a match where they had their back against the wall and if you've ever done any sport you know it is psychologically very boosting to win a match like that. Another thing is the experience of Bhupathi, then you have to consider Bopanna's serve and the Spaniard's record in finals. So maybe that's why.
