If you think about it, there are 7 matches today in which the odds for favourites are above 1.4. I would guess at least 2 or 3 of those are going to lose, so your chances of picking a wrongun are going to be quite big.

Good point.

Underdogs are not having a good week this week, especially in the mens.

Statistically, 1.4s are the safest odds, they win more than their odds suggest they should. But if you go into the 1.5s 1.6s territory, that changes a lot.

I think Raonic is at nice odds today. People assume that because he had a good week, he will not perform in this tournament. But he has ambitions for climbing well into the top ten, and he could do that with a couple of good tournaments.

Simon to beat Dolgopolov @1.75. Dolgo lacks consistency, Simon has good retrieving skills. Dolgo to go into UE mode.

Simon and Raonic are the two games i was looking at myself.

What about Kohlstreiber. Lopez is pretty poor these days?
|
|
By:
Also Querrey against Nishikori. I think he had a one off tournament in front of his own fans and i think Querrey might be too good today. Could also be tired.

Simon doesnt have a lot to play for except some preparation for tournaments in his own country. Kohlschreiber is unpredictable, I usually see if he loses the first set, because he is not good from that position and then I bet on the other player. Gasquet could be worth a punt, and probably Tsonga.
