there would be scheduling issues if all women's matches (127) would be bo5 instead of bo3.

Can't see all the men's matches completed today. And if this weather continues, Fed will have had four or five days' break when he plays again.

If that is a reason, that's not really a fair reason. But it probably plays a part. I also think tradition has a lot to do with it. But do people actually want to see women play 5 set? Or do these people just want them to play bo5 out of principle?

the mens singles is the same number of matches (127) , but i don't want to see Women's matches over any more than bo3 , wta is enuff of a mugfest at times without the possibility of 5 sets

Best of five brings out different winners in the men's matches. It's almost slam-light for women to only play three. You could easily be denying would-be winners.

maria might well lose this first set ... but she will fight back ,exactly same thing happened the other night against Petrova, she went a break down in the third and drifted to 1.8 in the market ,then the rain came ... after the rain break and very quickly was trading sub 1.1
it will be a shock for her to get broken twice here , but she will re group mentally , you will see a different animal after the resumption |

you can introduce best of 7 matches and it also will bring different results. but whats the point
women play best in 3 setters, 5 setters would be too much for them and the quality will drop . they have tits and menstruation and weaker body, should i really explain this? but 3 set match in wta is the same entertainment as 5 setter atp. there is much many breaks and bigger drama .and you looking at chicks for me they should start playing b5 from quaters ,usually first set is waste of time to watch because anything may happen yet and there is no pressure for players if they lose it especially for better players, so just a borefest. most sports have matches in around 2-3 hours. longer matches are just unbearable for casual viewers |

it's meant to be on grandstand after the doubles match in progress. assume they'll chuck the doubles off and start straight away though if it stops raining
