Well I have to say I've only been watching tennis regularly for just over a year, but in that time and in the matches I've seen, I've never seen Kirilenko not try, but I am looking at her record this year and wondering what she was doing during the clay season.

Errani has demonstrated professionalism this year at least by giving full commitment to so many small tournaments. Those impressive streaks on clay show a lot of dedication.

I'd add Kerber to the list too, occasional crying induced by mental fragility (a weakness - not a lack of professionalism) notwithstanding.

I cannnot believe what has happened to Radwanska recently. She used to be the most reliable player on tour for dispatching mugs like Stephens. 36 wins in a row earlier this year if you don't count vs. Azarenka.
