Odds against for Mayer are once again worth taking imo.
Okay, Ram was imperious around the net against Capdeville, but I think Mayer is much better equipped than Capdeville to reduce Ram's opportunities to come in, and it's also difficult to see Ram being as comfortable rallying from the baseline with Mayer. Mayer also smashed Ram 6-1 6-2 on hard a couple of years ago, albeit in qualifying for Sydney.
However, I am definitely swayed by the fact that Mayer has never failed to win me money

imo - but only 1.9-1.95
especially with Mayer making a second game difficult too and getting to BP
Ram should slow down with the net attacks, he has more chnce to push mayer to UE in a rally.
Market wants dble break or onfortable holds for mayer before making him favorite. He can eaely break himself once and serving behind makes the situation particularly dangerous.
perfect strategy for rampras, just put the ball in play somehow over the net, the other idiot hits hit UE

as long as mayer is on the tour there is a chance of a comeback
Yep desserved win for rampras, didnt give up after sloppy game and break behind, just fighting the best he could and it paid.
