Great stuff! Cohen is obviously a mug and shouldn't have won this match... My original stake was 500 quid on Pervak at 1.2s... Took furious trading to get myself green... Didn't know about Pervak's injury so a lesson learned...

very very sad for Ksenia - but seems a very strange call to continue playing in that heat with a (possibly thigh) injury already affecting her...

lol @ furious trading.

you trying to make yourself sound professional?? You mean you got lucky that pervak got back into it so gave you time to trade out.

RememberJeremyBates ... bearing in mind she only went down to 1.15 ... then to trade out of your 1.2 back bet on Pervak is sooooooo amazing .... it is almost unbelievable Laugh

tsango. That 500 I put on Pervak at the start certainly wasn't a professional decision, I'll grant you that. The commentator said that she came into the match carrying an injury, which is something I should have researched...

undern. I had to commit more money and eventually switched to Cohen...

i know, i'm a betfair player but lately i tried to bet on bet365 for a change..WHAT a change...
By:

But to be fair, those odds on Pervak at the start were way too low in the first place, even if she didn't have an injury.
By:

Jesp. I know. When they both struggling with serve at the start and the odds hadn't moved much I though maybe I should just switch my bet and go all in on Cohen. I hesitated and it meant I had to risk more money. At one point I was exposed by 800 pounds...

I'm just saying that I find it funny that gamblers use the term trade to make them sound professional rather than saying I bet on x then switched!

And you went one step further with using "furious trading"... lol

so b 3 6 5 only pays on completed matches? Thought of opening an account for arbing purposes, but isn't worth if that's the case.

The difference between trading and switching is, that trading means reducing your exposure, probably for managing to have an all green position, in the optimum case switching green to and fro enhancing the profit even more, while switching means reversing red and green, in many cases with an increase of stake (or a decrease of potential profit).

no, trading doesn't just mean reducing exposure, though obviously it can. I didn't mention anything about switching and trading being the same though to switch you have to trade obviously.
