roddick more likely to break isner but isner tie break favorite also in 3rd set so odds should be evens imo

Stil,, the momentum is on Isner's side, as well as age, and a better tiebreak playing skill

i guess market doesnt expect isner can break and his only hope in set 3 is another TB whereas roddick has better return game so ergo is minor favourite

Yes Isner had more aces in that set, but Roddick won a higher percentage of points on his own serve and had a much better first serve percentage. Personally, I think this is heading for another tiebreak.

I love how the odds moves in this matches.

a 15-0 have about 10 ticks of value, a hold 12 ticks

after a hold, the odds always rebound 3 ticks, the market started to already discount the next hold even if they are resting.

Totally agree, a lot of stupid trades happening

Happens in a lot of tennis markets Robin. I don't get why you'd bet on what is/isn't about to happen and not what has happened like that and what the position of the market and match actually is.

I see the market has lost a bit of faith in Isner after just one close service game.

That's not a rational explanation.

how a 15-0 can have the 80% of the value of a hold?

and if its going to happen, why the market moves the odds to 1.90 after a hold and BEFORE the next game always goes to 1.87/1.93 depends of serving or not?

The market should move to 1.87/93 then, but the people goes to 1.90 and then start back the next serve.

I make money of that movements, I only comment that it is stupid

Sorry, I meant the bounce back before a service game. It's as if the * for server helps a three-tick movement before it's even happened even though both players serve alternately.

Except trying to find explanations and trends can give you an edge on the market. It's odd though because this bounceback before a service game doesn't always happen. I've found it's happened more in the last week because money has been vanishing from the market by those backing the next returner. As a result the market fills the void.

I've noticed it most of the tournaments most of the matches, does not surprise me anymore

This is going to another TB, Isner wins it.

Isner is looking much more comfortable now, it's absolutely insane for Roddick to be favorite here

Best one is to often back a player losing 40-0 when he's returning. If he wins the next point, his price will come in, and even if he loses it won't go much further out and often comes in a couple of ticks because he's about to serve. Great minor scalping technique.
