Why on earth is anyone on the American here? This guy is never going to have enough to take 2 sets off Hewitt on grass. Hewitt looked in reasonable touch against Pospisil we must have been watching different matches: Pospisil tanked that match; Hewitt had to do nothing to win it. |

What he did do he did very well though... and this other guy is clearly not comfortable on grass

i don't think he's that uncomfortable on grass. he's got a dodgy forehand, but i'm not sure that's got anything to do with the surface. serve seems fine. is confused a bit about when to come in, but the main sign of a disadvantage on grass is movement, and i'm not seeing any of that.

He has been abysmal at the net and his ground strokes aren't durable enough IMO

Serve is his only weapon on grass from what I can see, a good flat 1st serve and a good kick 2nd serve

Absolutely right morrillo, I'm not saying Hewitt is world beater anymore, but Smyczek doesn't have the capacity to win 2 sets at this level, hence why I was on Hewitt at 1.4
