Starts in a couple of hours. H2H we've got Gasquet leading 4-3. They've played on clay twice with Gasquet winning in Rome last month and Murray winning in the French open in 2010 with Gasquet never beating Murray at a Grand Slam. Odds at the moment have Murray at $1.68 and Gasquet at $2.44. The way I see it: if Murray shows signs of that back injury, he's gone. If not, Murray to win though not in straight sets.

I can't believe Gasquet is 1m85 (6'1"). He kinda looks like the half-breed between gollum and a rubberised chicken the way he waddles around the baseline. His tennis is sh1t hot though!

layed murray - have seen gasquet against haas, if he plays have as well as against Haas in the 2-4 set Murray will throw his racket away/ will be complaining about his back before the second set is over.

murray is no bottler, he is what he is, the 4th best player in the world. has won high ranking tournaments but unfortunately just not good enough over 5 sets in slams. he is a much better 3 set player.
clay would be murray's weakest surface. he is much better than henman ever was, it's not even close. |
