Nadal to win for me and 2-0 too, still deciding on stakes, but I feel that the market is very generous at 1.15. Ferrer's strength is his consistency which IMO will not trouble nadal at all. Players with good shotmaking abilities and having a good day will pose trouble (people like tsonga, verdasco, etc). Ferrer imo does not have any weapons to hurt nadal. Also, his cross court BH (which he hits 90% of the time) will go to nadal's FH, allowing him to dictate play. Ferrer also likes to hit inside out FHs, again playing to nadal's strength so the best he can get is a TB IMO. Gd luck all!

I've put 400 on nadal match odds at 1.13. Gd luck all! Nadal losing this match will be more shocking than losing to verdasco at madrid IMO

I think you're right but 'very generous' might be pushing. Wouldn't fancy laying 1.16 though with the way he played yesterday. Ferrer gone breaks up against Nadal on clay in sets numerous times, but never actually wins one.

was watching roland garros 2006 finals between nadal and federer today, he seems to have toned down his staredown quite a bit since then haha

that said, ferrer is the person you dont want to play if u are carrying some form of injury, so am hoping that its a fit and healthy rafa here

very tight match in MC, Ferrer had a few SPs in the 1st set and on one of them Nadull had massive luck with a shanked forehand landing smack on the baseline.

beating djoko in 2 clay finals before roland garros would be the best preparation for nadal going into RG

Nadal plays the early semi against easier opponent while Fed/Djoko could have a marathon match tonight and be knackered tomorrow. Happy to see Rafa with nr 3 ranking after Rome so we don't get this situation for a while.
