Clay in rome mosdef slower than in Madrid (and sea level), so Berdych has less upside here I would say. Value bet in Almagro, maybe to trade halfway through first set.
Del Potro looks well tired. Which is understandable, with the program he's had lately. He's got good CV vs Tsonga, but here the value bet is with the Frenchman.
Wawrinka is playing really well right now, I'll pick him too. What I don't like here is him playing vs home crowd and vs a in-form player. Still, I'll pick him.
Gasquet is playing well right now, he's had easy rounds before this, so he should be rested. No one never knows wich Murray's gonna turn up, so I'd pick Gasquet for value.
On clay I have to give Ferrer the edge. But he's looked tired lately, while Simon is striking the ball well. Ferrer still though.
I like Monaco on clay these days. He plays really well! Lay Djoko for trade.

WTA is....well, it's WTA Confused
Still, I pick Na Li in two sets. She's striking the ball well right now, and has been doing so for a few weeks, so I pick her., although it's only 1.40.

GL to you mate.

Hi, why is Wawrinka and Pennetta? Any explanation please, don't agree though. Both run well so far.

Today I'd say:

Serena's got verything but the crowd going for her vs Pennetta. No pick, I'm not even sure there's room to trade.

I like Berdych's value. He has massive strokes to bother Nadal, he could well take the first set, great trading opportunities, but let's wait 3-4 games. He won't break Nadal before that, and if he can hang with him til then (the value won't drop too much, it's Nadal), let's lay the Spaniard.

Tsonga is value too. A lot of people praised his performance yesterday, but Delpo was injured, and tbh I didn't like what I saw of Tsonga. But he's got a good grip on Djoko, and Djoko knows that. He was well tested by Monaco yesterday, but he gave away more than Monaco wanted in the first set. Overall he's plying pretty bad. He's got a bad habit of turning up halfway through the 2nd set, so here I'd lay him, again after 3-4 games, just to make sure that Tsonga is still in the race then.

Kvitova wasn't too impressive yesterday, and what she's really got going for her is being a lefty. That bothers most women on the WTA, but not Kerber. She's has great mental, good attitude on the court and strikes the ball well these days Odds on way too short for me on Kvitova not to lay her.

Tough game for Seppi yesterday. Too tough, too long, too emotional, for the second round in a row. Fedex in two straight sets.

Gasquet has a great game, beautiful backhand, better maturity now. What he doesn't have, and will probably never have, is endurance. He can't perform two tough 3-set matches on two consecutive days, or even two best-of-five-going-the-distance with a rest day in between. Shame. Ferrer is world nr.4 on clay and has been for the past 2-3 years. Class difference here. Ferrer is two straight sets, top value for me.

Cibulkova had a w.o win yesterday, so she's fresh. I didn't see her previous match, but she's strikes the ball well and she adapts well to clay, I think. I had Na Li vs Scheepers yesterday, but that's because Scheepers doesn't have anything to threaten the top 20 out there. Li made it way too exciting out there when she could have finished this off much faster. I know the conditions weren't easy with the wind and everything, but still, I thought she played a pretty bad match. I pick Cibulkova, although she has a weak, just for trade opportunities.

Sharapova in two sets. Venus needs better endurance and more matches to get into the rythm. Sharapova played a good match vs Ivanovic, shes stroke the ball well, moved well, had great attitude. I pick her.

GL out there.
