gvl still banging on about 'wrong' ratio. As least we can see the ball at it is now! Although I do agree this does look like a 16:9 stretched to 4:3, but still, happy to have it this way than 16:9 any day so I can actually see the ball.

stretched, not squashed. If it was squashed then you would have your 16:9 with black bars top and bottom and we won't be able to see the ball. Why do you want that? I can only assume you are using a real low res on your screen?

strange, i twice made a post on here telling a little story about a woz match and it's been deleted within seconds. have bf got an automatic mod bot working on here? i refuse to believe there's someone in betfair towers sitting modding this second by second.

I know what you mean, but how can you see the ball at 16:9? I'm not using a particular high res (1680x1050) and I'm hardly blind, but at 16:9 I'm having to push my face against the screen just to see the ball for those close calls.

That's the reason then, and as I suspected (laptop I take it). That's a low res so your video stream will be a lot bigger than mine on PC monitor so 16:9 will still be perfectly usable. Clearly the providers are all going to go with 16:9 eventually so BF simply need to update there video app to show true 16:9, ie so we get the full picture without the black boarders. More chance of seeing Woz reach No.1 again!
