The H2H is close and JJ holds a 4-1 record over Venus on clay, If JJ turns up this could be very close and I fancy her price at 2.62, cant see Venus walking away with it 2 straight easy sets... whats everyone else's thoughts?

jankers used to be predator on clay, but difficult to name this crappy surface clay as like someone said there is no slide and janko likes sliding a lot

How slow is this surface im comparison to Roland Garros
and in comparison to the very slow hard court in Miami.

its different than miami coz u dont have that grip but court overall is quite firm

its sort of hybride between clay and hard court

hard to say will try janko here. williams did pretty well aganist benesova but janko probably cant wait to play on a dirt she may transform here, but her recent slump is horrible so its risky

i think venuw will prevail here because this surface plays more like hard court, and jankovic is not as good on it as she is on red gravel. Taking into consideration her recent bad form, although i dont think venuw will walk over jankovic. williams is not a certainty but jankovic is just too instable to pick atm.

Williams is a bit slower than she used to be, sliding around a bit won't help with that, but the ball will be a bit slower, so maybe she'll deal with it. Not like Jankovic is a Karlovic anyway.
