Aggie is similar to Wozzi? NO
I hope Aggie will win but I'm scared for her cause Maria will probably destroy her before she can design any tactic.... |
|
By:
of course Aggie is similar to Woz, they are both consistent pushers with no winners. Woz may be a better version but they are still similar in approach.

In her last 2 matches, Sharapova has controlled her 1st and 2nd serve very well.
As a result, both created numerous openings for her on return and she was deadly. She also controlled her UE very well by taking off speed of her groundstrokes and it worked wonders. Hogstedt is giving here a new edge in her overall game. You add to this the undeniable fact that Sharapova has a great tennis brain, it should be enouh to beat Radwanska. |

By:
well how do you see A-Rad play then?
|
|
By:
until last year, porker was the better pusher but this year, it's hands down a-rad
god-awful screamer ain't winning this in 2 |
|
By:
Aggie has the best touch of WTA tour.... maybe Kim owns a better one.... she uses her opponent power to hit winners with great angles and at times she gets to the net to close points with nice volleys...
Wozzi has not that great touch for sure... she is a top runner on court.... she uses her opponent power to steal her time and returning so fast that sooner or later the other girl will start hitting UEs if she doesn't hit winners in the first couple shots.... she'd better stay baseline cause she good there.... volleys are played just in emergency or tilting cases..... Where do you see similarities? |
|
By:
serve is crappy for both... that's the only similarity I get
|
|
By:
Another point I forget:
Aggie best shot: FOREHAND Caro best shot: BACKHAND |
|
By:
Masha to take 1-0, *4:1 lead and the to lose 5 straight games. LOL
![]() ![]() |
|
By:
the similarities I see is that they both tend to go for long rallies with no power shot finisher. Like they are trying to bore the opponent into make an error. Thats fine if the opponent is error prone but when opponent makes no errors as well then we get loooooong rally after rally
![]() |
|
By:
Yes they can't generate power on their own...that's sure... maybe once over 10 they can....
![]() |
|
By:
Sharapova and Aza are well ahead in power generating....
also Kvitova and the Williams or Kim... |
|
By:
Only one person, Azarenka, has beaten A-Rad this year, Sharapova is 0-3 in finals. You know what u get with A-Rad, just depends how well shoutapova plays on the day as to who wins.

Sharapova vs "isn't she back in Poland already" Radwanska.
Maria has to win this match just for the simply fact that losing after making that comment would just be way too embarrassing. It will be a different style of dynamic: Maria has the power but Aggie has the craft... Come on Agnieszka and beat the over-hyped overrated Sharapova!!! |
|
By:
Maria is used to being embarrased in finals
![]() |
|
By:
a. Arad is nothing like Woz. She is more gifted and smarter player.
b. If Sharapova can keep up the pace and the bashing (that's why Arad always loose from Vika) Shappy will win. |
|
By:
Radwanska should have lost vs Bartoli, except Bartoli got injured.
Maybe she gets lucky again, but that does not deserve 2.4 |
|
By:
What about their H2H? and the H2H since Masha back from surgery?
|
|
By:
similar to wozniacki match, match entirely depends on maria as she is clearly the more talented player.
Question is which maria turns up cos we all know what radwanska is going to bring. as long maria plays to 50% of her ability, it should be a routine win. |
|
By:
h2h is 7-1, rad's only win in 2007.
So 5-0 since summer of 2009 (after surgery) |
|
By:
If Sharapova plays to 50% of her ability,
Radwanska will win 6/1 6/1 |
|
By:
are you trying to suggest sharapova needs to be at her best to beat radwanska?
![]() she doesn't have to be anywhere near her best to beat radwanska |
|
By:
We both have different opinions.
Nothing wrong with that. |
|
By:
Virtually right with my prediction of the other game. I'm gonna go 6-4 6-3 to A-rad.

Sharapova more talented than Aggie? Ok.... that's enough...should I stop reading?

don't like opposing A-Rad as she's made me lots of money this year
![]() shazza for me though tmrw |
|
By:
"Sharapova more talented than Aggie? Ok.... that's enough...should I stop reading?"
not just more but much more. it was pretty much stating the obvious |
|
By:
Agnieszka has been defeated by the only one player this year.
Agnieszka has not lost single set reaching the final. and reaching the final- Agnieszka never lost the final. come on babe beat the over-hyped overrated Sharapova!!! |
|
By:
|
|
By:
and then if Masha wins tomorrow you'll tell me: "rickysomas1, I told you she is more talented than Aggie..."

ranwanksa = 0 slam wins, 0 slam finals, 0 slam semi's
sharapova = 3 slam wins, 6 finals, too many semi's hmm, i wonder who's better??? ![]() to be honest its like saying the sky is blue, and you believing its red. |

By:

|
By:

|
By:
