that was a super game. ferrer did not deserve to lose in 2 ------------ i kinda tend to disagree with this. Ferrer had not a chance. It was Djoker who dropped the level of his play for a jot, while servin for the match. And that was enough for Ferrer to come big. (This just shows how big player Ferrer is!). What Nole was thinkin (probably): I would rather go for shots exchange, even engaging the long rallies, relying on my own shooting skills that are dominant to Ferrer, hoping for Ferrer to default.  And that was A wrong Calculation!! Ferrer went on a 41 shot rally with perfect run, and it was Djoko who faulted.  Once broken, It was too late to correct himeslf. BUT, then Djoker changed the gear (a mark of the true champion!). In TB he decided to play aggressive, and not let Ferrer enter shots exchange option. And that worked. Because of that Ferrer looked erroneous, and undecided, yet it was Djoko who made him look like that. Ferrer is a machine...that's how he destroyed DelPotro yesterday. |
