This match should be investigated. 6-1 5-2 and there comes Federenka. No sorry, did you see how Cibulkova abandoned the court? I´m sure she's thinking the same. Azarenka played two matches here, and for sure she made a lot of money betting against the odds.

I dont think all sports are clean, far from it, but you have to look at motivation
Azarenka for example will take home a fortune in sponsorships from Nike etc, millions every year, probably more than prize money No one would risk that for some bets, it just wouldnt be worth it, because a top player caught out would lose all that, and if it was as rife as people think, people would be caught far more. Where as a lower league footy player earning 1k a week, might think its worth getting himself backed to be booked / sent off / score an own goal / lose etc Plus taking that match there, if it was a fix, then why the epic rallys in the final set, the money was won/lost by start of 3rd, no need for 20 shot points every time. Or maybe I'm gullible |
