I know what you mean, but it might kerb his smug, arrogant attitude now he is getting his ass handed to him by second and third rate players like Murray and Isner. Think he knew that he was playing some guff tennis and the final against Fed or Nadal would be so one sided and more damaging to him that he was better to go out to the home fav.
