WTA rules on treatment for cramp, for those who are interested:

Petra Matric is an Epic Warrior she is a female version of Novak or Nadal. What I saw against JJ confirmed to me she is truly outstanding classy player and a future world number 1 and shades above Su-Wei that is why I have just full balanced Martic to take this final set!!!

All these haters make me sick she played against JJ in an epic 3 hour ago and been on court already 1 hour and half and you have cheek to say rubbish about Martic. Yeah took some Hsieh in the 3rd set at 1.6 also, market was absolutely unrealistic.
Surely it just underlines the strength in depth of the WTA that someone like Su Wei can win a tournament.

Hsieh won tournament coz of two reasons. Radwanska doing a runner and RAIN. I had 400 on Hsieh which I had won on petra earlier. Fatigue was reason for bet which came through in the end.

can't agree... I'm not saying she wasn't tired.... she was tired.... she almost won the match...she wasted the point of 42*30 all second set... then got rebroken and in 3 minutes her bearable tiredness became the worse ever seen on a tennis court... she was already tired before entering the court... I just don't take that tiredness changed ( doubled up or tripled up ) in 3 points...she did not even played those points... so she couldn't get that more tired than she already was on 42 30 all....

Just catching up with this. Was it really 4 hours? Can you imagine the tournament treating higher ranked players like that? Has any tournament forced Federer or Sharapova to play two matches so close together?

Ricky, surely the question is not 'could a better player have closed it out sooner and mitigated the effects of tiredness' but rather 'given Martic's ability should she have been so dominant as to have not been affected by tiredness to the degree she was'.

WTA should demand that the tournement has at least the possibility to go indoor to prevent tis unfair 'two matches at ond day' unequality.
She has talent, but not world certainly not no.1 kind of talent.
Top 50 is realistic, top 20 is possible, top 10 questionable, no.1 very unlikely.

opinions... I was impressed last weeks by seeing this name Hsieh progressing everytournament till 1/4 Finals or semis... now I saw her playing and I'm really not impressed anymore...
