Yes some mugs backed 1.3x already hilarious
According to you there must be a lot of mugs out there. Betting summary - Volume: $1,868,698..................And one bet of 150k on Daniilidou...Mugs you say?

Haha, now this is onesided, so early 1.3x-1.4x backers got really lucky
And according to you people that backed Daniilidou are "mugs" and because she WAS winning in this match now you say "they're lucky". Your comments are a farce. Daniilidou may lose the match but calling people mugs for backing Daniilidou is ridiculous. Did you even watch Rogowska play Dokic? She should have lost the match only for Dokic serving poorly and UE's.
Tournament is supposed to end on sunday and looking at the forecast I can't see any matches being played Saturday. Maybe they finish quarter finals, then play semis and final back to back to back on sunday in the fog

Radwanska has withdrawn with injury before her match. She should've been voided from your accumulator already.
Really? Hope so.

Newcombe I don't think you got any of that.Dani was backed at 1.3x-14.x before the atmch even started. The real odds before the match were 1.6x-1.7x it was absolute mug punting. If Rogowska didn't start as bad as she did in the first set, the scoreline could look completely different now.
That is a fair enough comment. I wouldn't have accepted 1.3 or 1.4 pre match start and it still could go either way. Daniilidou has to serve better. Rogowska not without a chance I suppose but I would still expect Elena to prevail.

Lol didnt notice this has begun. No way Dani wins this after such a massive choke...
Elena isn't Philip Kohlschreiber.

Just because someone wins, doesn't mean you picked value
Why does it have to be about value? It just doesn't. Do you think the guy that had 150k on Daniilidou at 1.40 cares about value? Whilst value is good on occasion, it isn't about value it is about picking winners sorry to inform you. No one is right 100% of the time.

Betfair is all about value, you won't be in a long term profit if all you do is pick winners no matter the price. The concept of value means you have a certain edge towards the market and this edge is crucial for running profits.

"You won't be in long term profit if all you do is pick winners"? Are you contradicting yourself or what? What is a "certain edge"? Trading in and trading out? Show me your opinions and definition of value on this forum. Just betting dogs won't win you money long term either.

Guys like you put a big smile on my face.No of course you are completely right it is about picking winners
Sure guys like you come in and say Daniilidou was a dumb bet, yet she won. As I said hilarious. Especially for the guy that had 150k on her @ 1.40. He must be rolling on the floor laughing. Keep smiling it is better than crying.

Sorry if I was misunderstood, what I mean is that there is no long term profit if you try to pick winners regardless of their price. A certain edge is the pricing advantage you have towards the market, and lastly value is not only about betting on dogs. Just take yesterday's game between Murray and Djokovic, starting price was around 1.38 which was clearly too low with respect to their head to head, level during the tournament and so on.
