Dubai so easy to predict always win money here by some players tanking. Next tank Ljubicic! He retired last year against Bubka and this year he will lose to Onion man Cipolla the mug So Davy got all the way to 4-1 in the final set and then decided to give up? |

There was £150 traded at 1.01.
Gutted I missed such low odds on Davy - always lay him below 1.1 for a trade, he's renowned for his "ability" to throw away a match that most would finish in their sleep. Not the first or last time this has happened with Davy. Well done all who got on at the sub 1.1 prices. |

never traded 1,01,believe me

It did trade at 1.01, £150, I checked just before suspended.
Lubo is another one like Davy, make more from their off court activities than the actual play imo. I lost a bundle on him in this tournament last year when he retired against some no mark player. The funny thing was the blatant signal just before he done it, he was serving in the 2nd set and out of nowhere decides to take his chain off and hand it to the umpire, 2 mins later he retired - shocking behaviour! |
|
By:
So why did you back him then if you think he deliberately lost?
|
|
By:
That directed at me Jimmy?
|
|
By:
Yes.

I backed him after he lost the first set and his odds went up to 1.8ish. Put about £800 on him looking for a trade to get some Green each side. As I said he was playing some nobody. Anyway he starts second set with a decent game or two, then hands his jewelery over then out of nowhere retired. It was a scumful shameful display but never went near him again after that.

![]() In terms of ranking and ability - he's a nobody! |
