What I don't understand how can you get a better odd at the bookies than the platform given that they usually charge a spread to the platforms. As for the timing between the two trades it can easily be solved with the betfair smartphone app. What about arbing between platforms. I guess if you write a good code there are arb opportunities every day to be exploited. Have you tried? |

For sure I can't give you an analysis of my in play bets, and for the match bets, well, it may sound crazy, but its rather an intuitive exclusion of the matches where I feel there is no value in the odds, primarily because the favs are too unreliable for me, as was Fish today. I don't care if I miss such wins, as it pays off when there is only 1 loser in about 8 - 10 matches I decide to let go.

I done a bit of betting on tennis and try and only do matches i can watch so can do frequent bets.
I have tried to bet on matches following scores on the WTA and ATP score boards, but there seem to be 20-30 seconds sometimes behind actual play. What the best way of getting the latest tennis scores. So being able make better bets. Good luck. I like your thread. |

BBB can't you just post a picture of your betting history? I just joined from bet365, but they have a history section. I've been betting on tennis for years and it hard to believe you could predict so many women's matches correctly. They're far too erratic and unpredictable to call consistently.
I'm new, but I think you have to use a combo of favorite betting, parlay, and the high risk when the opportunity arises. I don't think you can be successful otherwise. And once has to be very selective and patient, wait for the right opportunity. And, the only way you can learn how to make money betting is by LOTS of experience. Experience will make you understand your system and how important it is to adhere to DISCIPLINE. The number one reason we will all fail is because of emotional betting, trying to reclaim a recent loss. I made 300 pounds into 4600 pounds this Australian Open. Swear to god. Then lost quite a bit in the Djocko Murray final by betting on both, first on Djocko then ALOT on Murray. Then lost A LOT trying to reclaim it by betting on some random tennis match, and extremely stupid risky bet I knew nothing about. I was left with 400 pounds. Unfortunately, the emotional desire to regain your peak is the downfall of most gambler. But I'm more disciplined than ever, and patient. |

I can't remember having ever experienced such a great day, the only one a hab won more on tennis within a day was last year when Nadal lost do Ferrer at the AO.

as announced yesterday only ARad and Ferrer were pre match, today it's only Ferrer (ARad would have been too, glad she didn't play with an injury, could have cost me), not sure if I shall take JJ. Mainly the pre match bets are those were I expect a straight forward win, so eg I skipped Fed yesterday, coz I thought he could get in troubles.

I don't have a 300k bank, sometimes 10% of it, depending how much money is tied up in my arbs.
If that match would have turned (Tsonga getting both breaks back) I probably would have risked about 500 more at better odds if I still believed in my fav, or sat it out hoping and praying. If Djoker had lost 2nd set I would have topped up for sure, at my loss on Kuzzy, where that happened I switched (redded out) - it depends on how I see the match developing. |

this 2nd set tb between Fed and DP is the best explanation to explain, why I don't bet on such top clashes, and not betting on matches between 2 mugs is a foregone conclusion

started with 1,500 on Ferrer from 1.07 to 1.09 pre match, the rest was made with trades during the match. Unfortunarely JJ cancelled, would have started with 400 on her.
