it is just very odd with those odds.. and then it must be a huge coincidence that the atp site shows levine winning

this is precisely why betfair put a 12 hour delay on processing withdrawls troy

(well it's actually after that poker debacle, but they're protected against this sort of stuff as well)

Troy - I dont mind, as I didnt get involved. I just think that IF there has been an error, then what a mess this is going to be.

The only scenario that fits the facts is that Levine won.

Bf will reverse the pay out tomorrow, or maybe void!!

if levine wins, betfair will void definitly, because all other things would be a lot of work (withdraws, new bets etc) lol

If they are mixed up and the stats are correct the chances that Isner only wins 52% off his 1st serve are about 500/1 unless of course he was injured

It's not like courtsiders need any help, but a scoreboad mixup is their dream. Their only worry is how to profit from it the most...longer they leave it the more chance someone else will find out but at the same time they wouldnt want to take on the market early on getting a big liability and being buggered if it does start going the other way

Holy cow, looks like I missed some fun. I laid Isner pre-match at 1.65 and was looking for a quick trade as I was hungry. He went 0-30 down while serving in his first game and his odds went from 1.65 to 1.5. There was some crazy swings and I went all red at 1.54 as it was just too jumpy. I reckon Levine has won (hence the odds going the opposite direction, Isner wasn't 0-30 down, Levine was hence Isner's Odds coming down). The scoreboard results are automated so if it says Isner won then it's results will obviously say Isner won. I'd rather trust the ATP site, and I just looked at my P&L and my back on Isner won. All good fun, if it's settled then surly betfair can't demand your money back, it's their fault not yours.

they cant py out levine........ 1000 people would have lost 200000 euro or more... and others will got this lay 1,02 etc, just unreal
By:

about 20k match at funny odds after the first.

wouldn't surprise me if the market then "corrected" whilst the person in the know held back until Isner was 0-4 down and then filled up and ploughed in.

if Levine did win, I can't believe more than a couple of people knew about it.

The WTA results on their have been wrong before. Gave me a big shock when I rung up the tournament office, found out who won when the scoreboard froze only for the WTA site to publish it the wrong way round. Thanfully it was a mistake

Of course they can - its your own responsibility, not Betfairs, to make sure you know what the hell your doing.

Don, the irnoy is, they can't lose

Lump all your money on Levine. But if he starts losing, everyone will start backing him anyway. Literally, they can't lose

rofl

And for anyone who isn't sure what the result is, and I don't know, think about it...

Have you EVER seen someone laying 150k at 1.01 and 75k at 1.02 on a SB only match (No on tv anywhere)?

Have you ever seen that money unmatched on Match point?

I'd say its odd on there were 2 courtsiders there max, and they were pretty much all in on Levine, but were laying a bit more just incase.

Troy's prices of the real result

5/1 Isner
1/50 Levine

(Lads overround :) )
