sadly, the most likely scenario is the SB screwed up the names, and some shrewd person took everybody to the cleaners!!

they wouldnt have suspended if match wasnt over Not true; betfair follow the scoreboard. There was a match last year which the sb said was finished but we were watching it and it went on for another 45 mins before it was actually over and betfair were none the wiser. |
By:
they're not settling, so we're basically at their mercy. And I'm really curious what is the money the bot was feeding into the market if not Betfair's?
By:
so if the names are wrong what do betfair do?
By:
its betfairs cash spry
By:
betfair dont pay out.... void is coming and its fair
By:
why should betfair put money into the markets this way ?
By:
colourwizard can you elaborate on that? What are Betfair's money doing there?
By:
still waiting foir my money
By:
betfair SB says the same as the pro tennis SB.
I suspect we may all be in for a nasty shock though!! |
By:
why not just void the bets that came in after the match.
By:
I think it's quite rational not to pay out and investigate because there is a high likelyhood someone was blowing someone else's money (stolen money).
By:
if sb was wrong we all isner backers will loose our money....fact
By:
they say they bots there to improve liquidity in betting they do this by taking bets just as a bookie does
By:
doesn't everyone blow someone else's money here on BF anyway
what's the difference ? |
By:
isner has defo won the match.
By:
the result still isnt up on the official site
By:
anybody able to verify the score?
By:
isner has won
By:
the scoreboard is correct

that is a fair point. Someone may have had access to a persons PC and lost the lot. I wonder if there is a betfair forumite in divorce proceedings ;) |
By:
its just gone up on the website...isner wins
By:
TF for that...at worst its bets voided!!
By:
6-3, 6-1
By:
If someones misses blew there do more fool them for there breeding choices
PAY |
By:
No way BF can pay out on this.
By:
i bet on the result of the match, nothing else.
By:
My sister at the airport has just seen Isner walking past her at checkin, with his racket bag and everything
Hope that helps |
By:
if isner lost and the names are the wrong way round.. someone must have known for his odds to goto 2 when a set up... but when he won his odds were 1.02 or so.. and the person who "knew" the names were the wrong way round would have gobbled those odds up...
in conclusion.. isner won... market manipulators... forum scarers etc... you know who you are :@ |
By:
I think betfair's position on account hacking/theft is basically tough luck because it isn't their fault.
By:
when we play and there is a sudden suspension or the site goes down we lose our munney betfair very rarely void as they lose commission ,on this occassion its worked in most of their clients favour
and cannot be voided as they have no grounds to do so |
By:
i guess some mugz are no complaining to BF that the odds were odd
By:
what will be the official reason for voiding? It was our money?
By:
SURELY if someone was one set up and 5-0 up in the 2nd set, they would hit 1.01?
Not one penny was traded on 1.01 |
By:
yes spy....when we lose money it dont matter....but....
By:
...that the odds were odd
thinking that on at least 8 out of 10 matches |
By:
anyone phoned em?
By:
i get on to them now i suppose
