Yep, that is true; it was settled and then reversed when they realised the other player won. When it was GSM, the loser was at 1.01 because i layed a little of it.

This thread shows very well that what a greedy bastards are here on BF. They wanted to rip off the layers, and when they realized that they lost, they started to moan and cry like a baby.

Fair enough, I thought it may have been lost since it happened years ago, but looks like it has been salvaged from time to time.

Greed was viciously punished during this match. Something was clearly wrong but folk just couldnt help themselves!
|
|
By:
yes, exactly. Greed was punished. I have went through most of the pages in the last couple of hours.
I see some people find this thread hilarious but more then anything it seems educational to me. It made me wonder a few things now, including how many people actually read the terms and conditions we agree into as customers. I cant say im happy for those who lost money on Isner that night but it seems to me they pretty much got what they deserved. They thought somebody made a big mistake leaving that much money on there so they became greedy. But later on they were all playing the victims, yet they showed so much empathy for the person that made a "mistake" leaving all that money on the market. lol give me a break. |
|
By:
Great read. Sorry to those who lost.
Hope you can see the brighter side of this |

By:
Fack me that very chilling to read

Excellent read.
Curious about one thing, I'm sure there must be very limited "courtsiders" in the USA - given Betfair illegal. Perhaps wasn't illegal in 2008 (but I think it was)? I'm guessing those cleaning-up were those who just probably twigged early on the scorebaord was wrong. Mnay of the as3holes on this thread are no longer; the "mouths" generally disappear it seems - difficult to feel sorry for them. |
