5.5 million BBC viewers watched Rory win in 2014, this was at a time when F1 was being shown on the BBC as well but from 2010-2015 there was quite a drop off in viewing for F1.

That final round was way ahead of F1 viewing figures
Rory was the young cheeky chappie lad who was lighting up this country
Rory had the Northern Ireland vote all behind him, it wasn't till 2016 he tried to play for the republic and pulled out.

Rory got the pimp slot on the night
Rory at that time verses Lewis - Rory positive happy, Lewis more serious focused.

Now for me in 2014 Rory had every positive metric possible and still came up short.
