I was just pointing out that market got a lot of things wrong this year. I even posted on here when #TaylorSwift kicked off but still the market hated Ginge!? It's been one of the slowest reacting specials markets ever.

Serious question. Has this 'insight' ever landed a winner that wasn't favorite, that people could actually be greatful for?

Yes a lot. But it’s mainly on a personal level. Including songs, staging, running orders, and a lot more.

There's not much forum credibility going around here for IAC this year, myself included GrinCry

For pretimed stuff, it will be result dependent obviously, but it's a face off currently between Brushy and hems at this point. Brushy for indefatigable support of Ginge, hems tipped and ran until H got kicked out.

Lifter went for the front two, but H has crashed and burned.

CB could sort of claim a winning train if Tom wins, but has had the cliched more positions than the kama sutra. Loses bragging points for a confident 1.5 being turned over easily. Fig was very keen on Shona, on day 1, but she's probably bigger now lol.

Sam Thompson 57% Tony Bellew 43%
Danny 55% Coleen 45%

All data, insights, views and angles are appreciated by the majority on here Shraine. There is plenty of friendly fire/banter along the way.

With the right data and research there's plenty of nice trades and bets to make and often some crazy gifts along the way (just look at 2023 final day and today's market).

It was actually good insight, the nice young woman under the radar vote showed up again. Got top female easily anyway.

I've been a proponent of Ginge, Aitch, and Tom, as said in the opening few posts pre-show. I can't stand Tom, but he has his fans and knew he would be the fav among the Facebook mums.

Backed Vogue, then layed immediately as that was stupid, backed some Tom 7s to 10s, then put the rest of my deposit limit on Ginge and backed him with the bookies at 2/1, but thought Aitch was a strong player and it would be a toss-up (but didn't back him ever).

You said the front two were miles ahead from my recollection. But I won't be reading the thread again Grin

The take out overall is of course it's very easy to see how much more normally this market has operated, compared to when we were playing people who knew the voting order.

I withdrew my funds as I only really play this and Eurovision, and now hit with a £500 deposit limit. Been going back n foruth with customer services

I admit my call on AITCH was completely wrong. Luckily Aitch was already too short by the time I thought that so didn't back him.

Betting wise, it was "I will say also that A LOT of comments of the reveal posts are about Ginge. Dangerous to have him red at these prices. I'll lump on and have Tom as my saver."

"Winners tend to be ‘sweet and lovely’ – hence why Sam was such as easy call last year. And actually Tony got to the last 2, too. Tom stands out there. I can already see the “OMG Tom is so sweet, he has to win”

Could be an Aitch/Ginge vs Tom final two, with Aitch and Ginge sharing votes and giving Tom the win. Trouble is, they’re all so short and can’t back them all. I’ll back Tom as my man bet at 6.6ish as I KNOW the support is there. Don’t be surprised if Ginge captures all of the edit, though, and shortens to evens only to come up short."

What actually was Aitch's problem? I can only thing that Ginge is miles ahead, and it was just super close with the others? The biggest surprise for me this series

Too cocky and confident, also, the home video of him with his sister was just weird af, there was also not emotional bond, he never dropped the tough guy act and I felt embarrassed for him when h was showing off his torso. Also it frustrates the hell out of viewers when they steal 60% of the show and viewers just want to see their favourites instead.

I have a theory why Ginge will struggle if they reset the vote and you vote again
lots of his fans probably won't watch but will vote or have voted, they won't even realise the vote has reopened and won't bother. now The others wont have that problem

By:

i doubt his fans were that bothered about watching, they like his raps. not watching rtv
By:

I think Ginge has it in the bag but the biggest concern is his football obsession. The majority of viewers are not ManUtd fans, only a small percentage are ManU fans and you can bet that not a single West Ham fan will be voting for him either after yesterday...the pro is that he has probably got a lot of Swifty fans, those Swifties are a strange breed.

When: 07 Dec 25 19:40
If we ever got the figures, H was probably never at the top. But the double elimination does make vote transfers quite material. It might have been enough to push him down a spot. Shona got the last female action. I hypothesised it was a massive challenge for both of them to make the last 2, it really wasn't much of a stretch to expand that out to t3.
By:
Cider
When: 07 Dec 25 19:43
And yes, betting idiot of IAC does already come my way, as those exact thoughts went through my mind when looking at Ginge and H being layable for t3 at 1.01 and 1.05. And obviously, I left it.

I can't see anything Tom would of done to lose support during the series
I can see plenty Ginge did that would of cost him support

The only episodes where I potentially thought it was a negative was when he was farting and moaning etc. But looking back, that was a positive. He’s one of us. Makes him relatable. 2 days after that, he was given positive edits.
