US Elections

its 3-3 so far Democrats won that town of 6 people last election

I took Kamala Green and Trump red last night on value grounds, the polls are so close that that the 3% margin for error in polling means it's anybodies to win.

Men are voting in record numbers, Trump is gonna hose up

Plank

The Don is ROMPING it, but the fix is in, they will NOT let him win. Max red in numerous markets, soooooooooooooooooooooo want to lose my money, it'll be a very cheap price for saving the world.

You're the plank brushy, this market won't be settled for months

1.58 Trump 200 million matched

HUGE value on Harris - all thanks to Trump's demographic betting on what they WANT to happen

Do you want your 6-year old deciding they're the wromg sex and, if they get themselves to Minnesota, the courts will side with the child, deny you all parental rights, and cut off their bits and pieces, entirely without your knowledge, let alone consent? No coincidence that it's the dem VP candidate, the Governor of Minnesota, walz, who signed this into law.

Do you want newly-born babies to be left on a table to die, because the mother  decides postpartum that she wants a 'late term' abortion?

Do you want greasy old perverts changing in the same changing rooms as your young daughters? Or playing in women's sports, stealing medals, prizes and glory from your daughter?

Etc, etc, etc.

If you answered 'no' to any of these questions, then you know why The Don is ROMPING it, and you know why the evil pagan marxist globalists won't let him win. Remember, it's not about 'right or left', it's about 'right or wrong'

Quite right, tim

Oh dear. Lol and fffs

A win for free speech against 4 years of wokesters ruining a country

So much for Trump being a racist, record numbers of non whites in many counties voted for him.

It's the economy stupid etc, yep it seems to eradicate all else

After all the sacrifices made in WW2 I never in my wildest dreams believed Americans would embrace fascism with such gusto. At least the Germans did not have the benefit of hindsight.  So glad I'm too old for it to matter to me anymore.

The germans embraced it for exactly the same reasons, poverty of the former middle classes. A worrying warning

The worrying sign was that a large portion would of happily lived in poverty for another 4 years, rather than voting for Trump

As if trumpy will sort it lol

Immaterial, they were happy to live skint coz of a hatred spread by a narrative

You people talking about fascism need some serious help.

Yeah, save us from fascists!!! :)

The nut zero tyrants. I wouldn't go so far as to say we've been saved, more so it's postponed. But I doubt it will reign back red ed too much over here, alas.

Why so Cider?  Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultra nationalist political ideology and movement. Is that not MAGA in a nutshell?

Obviously not. Sounds like you've been consuming far too much legacy media.

What's the most authoritarian thing you expect the new administration to do in the next few years? Not soundbites or rhetoric, exactly what are you expecting in practice?

When all the dust settles the non emotional can see there's not really much difference between Rep and Dem except in their hot air. A difference in the panto layer, not in the real layer lying below.
For example, whatever they say to the contrary, the right wing parties of the west allow as much immigration as the left. Obviously a global policy to move people from no jobs countries to jobs countries and, I finally realised, it is humane and even good for both. UK would not still be in top 6 economies without a population increase. Trump never intended to build a wall. that was just part of the panto part of government.

The gammons are demanding lynchings, sorry i mean deportations though henners, what if he lets them down?

Deportations require some sort of consent from the receiving country, be a nice popcorn chewer to look at

I see border incursions are down 75% this year lol

Don't you think illegal immigrants should be deported, Brushy? Nobody sane is calling for legal people to be deported. Least of all, 'gammons'

A lot of the liberalists claim they will deport themselves with a Trump win. Remains to be seen if they were lying, but I have my suspicions that they won't be leaving the US.

"The receiving country won't allow it" is a great excuse. There always has to be one. I'll bet there were lots of excuses why the wall wasn't built. A 3 thousand mile wall was obviously an insane joke concept (if they really wanted to they could just have proper border control).

Calexit is coming :)

Putin taking half of ukraine and champing at the bit for taking more of europe would be a fair amount of difference.  Though perhaps not to the us public

Not from legacy media Cider, but from his his own words.

1. Trump has vowed to prosecute his political opponents without cause.
2. He has called for the indictment of members of the congressional committee that investigated his January 6 insurrection attempt.
3. He has said he would send the military in to Democratic run cities to quell any protests.
4. He has openly said he would use state power to persecute domestic enemies

Every time he opens his mouth he lies, so there is no knowing if any of this will happen of course.  I suspect he will spend most his time golfing and grifting while Vance and his billionaire backers take care of the dirty business. This is what the Americans voted for, so I sincerely hope they get what they wished for. They deserve it.  All of it.

The fact is that legacy media have downplayed an even ignored the most extreme trump proclamations

Many of them you'd only find on social media like YouTube

1. Trump has vowed to prosecute his political opponents without cause.

okay we'll take the first one.

evidence please, and when do you feel this we'll happen?

will happen

I mean, I didn't feel this was an especially challenging request, but I'll repeat it below for accuracy:

What's the most authoritarian thing you expect the new administration to do in the next few years? Not soundbites or rhetoric, exactly what are you expecting in practice?

Just one will do. Unless you've been living on another planet for the last couple of years, both sides used a sh1load of rhetoric in their electioneering. I'm not interested in the rhetoric, I'm interested in what you expect him to actually do that can be tangibly proven to mark him out as a fascist.

Wasting my time here. Like talking to a wall. I look forward to seeing how great America is after he's left office.

After all the sacrifices made in WW2 I never in my wildest dreams believed Americans would embrace fascism with such gusto. At least the Germans did not have the benefit of hindsight.  So glad I'm too old for it to matter to me anymore.

Simply asking you to back up your own bonkers rhetoric with something tangible. You evidently cannot.

Play nicely, learn from my example

Let's all CHORTLE at the brainwashed-by-legacy-media numbskull who still believes every lie fed him by them! And then let's all CHORTLE again as he defends his arguments by RUNNING AWAY!!! Cider was wise, only questioning the first LIE on the list, let me add just a couple of the most obvious examples to show the TRUTH!

hillary destroyed 30,000 incriminating e-mails that were under subpeona! The FBI confirmed this was highly illegal, yet The Don DIDN'T prosecute her, his No.1 political opponent

joe corruptly pocketed tens of millions, selling access to, and decision making within, the White House to all and sundry, including chinese, ukranians, kazakstanis . And why would the wife of the Mayor of Moscow have given him $3 million? Yet The Don DIDN'T prosecute him, his new No.1 political opponent.

So, precisely ZERO cases of The Don prosecuting political opponents.

In contrast, joe and his deep state prosecuted THOUSANDS of his political opponents, with some of the higher profile victims being Bannon, Navarro, Mannafort, Papadopoulous, Stone, Flynn and, of course, the great man himself, President Elect, Mr Donald J. Trump. These people have been given up to 18 years in prison for what, at most, was trespass, or what joe and his team deemed 'hate speech', or what's known in normal circles as 'free speech'

You only have to look at Bill's past sexual assaults and how Hillary intimidated and bullied the victims and how much dirty money they've accrued to know that the Democrats have been evil and self serving tyrants for decades.

So Trump has nominated Matt Gaetz for Attorney General.  An adjudicated rapist is nominating an accused rapist for the highest law office in the land? We are heading in to Twilight Zone territory now. Gotta give it to Trump though, he just doesn't give a flying f.

The cabinet is basically all the people Putin would have chosen

The brief moment of hope for ukraine didn't last long.  The arab voters in mi bot especially pleased either

All we are short of now is Trump pardoning Diddy and nominating him for chief party planner. lol.

Any ideas when the pv markets are getting settled?
