Made a stupid decision to run mediums early on.

This is what i was saying about mclaren, not used to competing for titles and make mistake after mistake

Lando will need a miracle to complete the race without making at least one mistake, been off all weekend and mistakes all season by all accounts. This circuit proper hard

But yeah, it's a good season, reminds me of the early 80s where development happened so fast different teams dominated different months, rather than years.  Even ligier looked unbeatable for a few races

Don't go down the wormhole of british fan boards, they are convinced red bull were cheating then forced to not cheat (without the governing body telling anyone.

It's all very maga

even if Lando somehow pulls off pole, its hard to see him winning the race. there was so many mistakes in P2 today, will actually be interesting to see how tomorrow plays out.

Seems a weird season this, not that ive followed it this closely...but to have a car so dominant then just fall back without reasons, then another car looking to take its place and now this week you have 3 cars all looking to fight the finish and the car that has been dominating looking 4th best.
not sure this is normal for this sport

Ferrari must be hot favs next week, looking slight favs here too

lol if Ferrari make up ground overall in the constructors, they will have a big rethink regarding Lando getting preference over Oscar

Wouldn't matter so much if the stupid team hadn't deducted 10 points from him
By:

Red bull look at least competitive with them this weekend, but i think ferrari could beat both

Which wouldn't bode that well for singapore either, lots of awful right angle corners. Ferrari territory

It's all speculation of course at this point, we'll see in the actual voting.

jill scott won iac, and two other members of the womens footy team won spoty in the last two years.

keely is best friends with lioness Ella Toone, does that mean all those female footy voters will all vote for her ? i guess it all depends whether they watch athletics/F1/darts as well as footy lol

tbf the Ella Toone connection is a plus but end of the day keely is an athlete not an england footy player
By:

Men still dominate tv voting

spoty since 2000 18 men 6 women
strictly 12 men 9 women
iac 13 men 10 women

going by your logic especially concerning the latter two there, where we all know its probably way more women vote than men coz we can't be arsed. why is it that men win more than women ??
By:

woman watch footy
woman watch F1
woman watch darts

if there has been a shift i'd say more women now watch a lot more different sport than they did when womens athletics had its spoty heydey from 2000-2012.

if there has been a shift, its the fact older ladies probably don't watch the above sports and stick with athletics mostly, whereas the new younger generation are growing up with these sports coz of there tv growth and growth in general.

its a proven fact all the 3 sports above are now being watched by more women since 2000, i'd be gobsmacked if more women are watching athletics now than in 2000.

it all points to athletics getting fewer votes from this younger generation of females, its really not rocket science

The only reason 3 women have won the last 3 awards is coz of the impact they had, not down to this new women voting power you've dreamt up in ya head

emma rad did something amazing, not losing a set at young age
beth was part of a championship winning team
mary won an extremely poor year of sport and had a shirt story

im not getting this total shift in voting down to its now 90% women voting CrazyCrazy

lol voting has dropped off a cliff, Jess got 372,000 votes

When: 13 Sep 24 17:43
your overplaying Keely's hand stu, the recent shift in women voting is all down to the national ladies footy team..they won't be turning up en masse this year.

Denise Lewis 2nd 2000 single gold
Jess Ennis 2nd 2012 single gold

Kelly won in 2004 with DOUBLE GOLD

history not on your side
