How many years has it been since men were allowed to be shown ogling young girls in the way the judges did to those two?
By:
Agree Tim I can barely walk to the shops without various females ogling my fine physique

ROMPED the semi from a poor slot, STUFFED the favs and cowell's GB, 11/1 with 365 is great value

Thought Alex's act went on forever, complete opposite to the audition. Was nothing special and the non stop tic references was tiresome.
He won coz of the judges plaudits and nothing more, they needed comedy in the final and wanted comedy in the final. There was endless shots of Ant, Dec and the judges apparently loving the act. Every judge went wildly over the top with there comments, a poor finalist for me but so are the majority. They clearly got rid of the deaf couple by not going to the public vote as the trixy act was pure garbage, calculator crap was boring and the wheel was a tad dodgy to land on the panted goon. Making sure the deaf couple didn't make the final has basically given Syd a very easy win probably, coz they would of diluted her vote a fair bit with the other singing acts. looks a sh1t final |
By:
what price was he to win the semi after the act ?
By:
I got a small bit of 12.0 a few minutes after he'd finished, higher might have been available in the intervening minutes
T3 and W/O Sydnie markets loaded, with three wildcards listed; don't know if that's 'official' |

I got £3 of the 12.00 Tim, he soon shortened, I went onto Bet365 and he was 3/1 but then went out to 4/1 and stayed there till market ended.
Hovered around 3/1 on the exchange which was bonkers. It wasn’t that the comedy and the material itself was side splitting. It was the emotion that he showed after he had finished the act. Just a few lines but so so powerful. If me being here tonight proves anything, if you’ve ever felt slightly written off, slightly like you don’t fit, like the world doesn’t have a place for you, tonight you are here, you are seen and you are valid, I have been Alex Mitchell , love will always win, thank you so much, Good Night. It was these lines that won the semi for him. He showed similar emotion at the end of his first audition and miraculously had a phone in his pocket from which Simon was able to ring his mother, ( pre planned obviously ) which would indicate he was always in the judges favour. I’m on board Tim. I don’t feel like Alex is another sob story who just gets votes because of his issue. Emotion and feeling always has an advantage in these shows and Alex has that in abundance and even if his performance is weak he will probably still go close. Exciting times. |

Since Potts in the very first series, BGT has been won on that one word, 'emotion', it's the one factor I use to determine my bets, actual talent is irrelevant.
As ever with comedians, he needs to have at least vaguely funny material, give the judges scope to ramp him; with that and a good slot, he ROMPS this! |
By:
Cheers chaps for the prices, i missed out on that...deffo would of had a go after judges comments. Dixon made a point of highlighting his final words as well.
It was mega ramping to get him to the final, i agree HE could win it but the act won't |

Word on the BGT wildcard hotline is clearly woof woof. Surprised, as they were buried in trap 1, but it was the best act not put through
By:
no shock sticking the animal act in the final
By:
Abigail massive drift, coffin slot awarded no doubt
By:
Lowest prices matched so far, 350%-odd just for those who hit single figures. Most of them are 'What???', some of them 'No, really, what the phuck were you thinking???'
Sydnie 1.38 Innocent 2.0 D and S 4.0 Mike 4.0 Ravi 4.1 Haribow 4.5 Cyber 4.7 Jack 5.0 Alex 5.1 Taryn 6.0 Genevieve 6.2 A and A 7.2 Stardust 8.0 Ssaulabi 9.0 |
By:
Jack backed in, decent slot then. Can't see him winning going by history, no magic act has ever won if there's been more than one magic act in the final. Only jones Won when he was the only magic act. A case for a place i guess
By:
And he won it on 'patriotism', not magic
