No Farage train? I will start one now…..

TK
Is this for 1st elim?
Hope you are keeping well

Phuck me, been an awful long time, wondered about you many times, welcome back!

I think he wins at a canter. Bet of the decade at current level.

Couldn't even win camp leader old chum

hmm why couldn't he win the camp leader vote?

Cantering a bit too slowly maybe

Ghost train, there is no life in it!

Not sure the camp leader vote is altogether relevant; his position in the market was based on the theory that Brexiteers would turn up nearer the business end but, last night, they weren`t lined up and ready yet, unorganised, unmotivated, probably unaware, not even watching. Not helpful to his chances, but not as fatal as the market thinks

Nobody had a vote that was organised and prepared last night.  Level playing field on which he lost

Sorry, I now see Cider had already posted the same point in the main thread

Who knows how many supporters he has, or how many of those will be voting but, if it was a valid theory when he was 7.x, it still is at 26, so one that needs to be factored in. I keep changing my mind, have had him both decent green and max red numerous times, but, at these prices he`s a definite green

At these prices i see a trade if thats the boat you wanna sail, but winning can't happen. He would get annihilated in the H2H
is 3rd place up for grabs, yes it is..so based on that its not the worse trade attempt at the current prices, he'd probably halve in price if he made the top 3. then halve again in the H2H probably, seems like a lot of hassle
may as well dutch top two and guarantee half a point

He's also got competition from bellew for the manly man's man vote

I’ve moved up north in my retirement. It’s not as grim as some people would have you believe.

I’m a huge green on Farage, that drift last night was ridiculous.

He has no route to victory from the viewers(see camp leader vote), he would need an external campaign to get flag sh@ggers to down load the app and vote in the correct windows as people leave, this is never going to happen, top 5 is his best result and that is only because we have a camp of dullards!

The ratings drop and anger he's being edited out will work in your favour, a trade is not out of the realms of reality but i think the kitchen sink is going to be thrown in Sam's direction for the next week or so.

Better as a Top 3 train, if the theory about his 'support' is true - he might make it to top 3. Even then it's a guess.

Farage voters don't watch this.

It's bizarre his price moves with edits.

His fans either vote or they don't, same as
from day one.

Tommy Robinson getting arrested has more
influence on your chances than Sam being camp
leader.

Who can be arsed to download the app and vote.

Kids and mems

They ain't voting farage, or bellew for that matter

Maybe itv will tell them there's a tracking device in theApp
to deter them.....

Might as well be green on Grace while you're at it

I wish you the best Kitten but does anybody really want to hear him rant on the hypocrisy of "cultural appropriation"? And I even agree with him btw. He has all his political platforms for that, which most IAC viewers probably sensibly avoid, and watch RTV instead. He said he was going to let people see the "real me". Unfortunately the real him is one dimensional.

i reckon if farage got to the h2h he's be the same price he is now with all the deramping he will get
just seems pointless backing him

The only winner on the farage train is farage and his 1.5 million

Nigel twitter ramping up the strawmen

...

Ignore the little blip on his odds.

I have just laid a bit back to change my green onNigel from “Money beyond my wildest dreams to “I am considerably richer than you.

Still ultra confident though.

you have my admiration

Worth a look……….

Hope you are doing well Kitten?  Only me and the from IMAC 2002?

Wonder if Baloos, myweigh and Izzy Wizzy are still alive and kicking?

I was around in those days too

My join date was 16th june 2002, what a shame I didn't see the forum then, could have had an extra few years of winding everyone up

lol and me, this is my 2nd account..was betting on exchange from day 1 but never knew about the forum for ages.

sorry stu!  The Kitten was The Cat back then and working for SJ if I remember correctly.

You are correct Clydebank. Happy days!

what was your earlier name on here army?

Lou macari iirc

Hah Lou - where has he gone these days?

Izzy Wizzy's Christmas Forum meet up at Covent Garden tube station was the stuff of legends.

lol brushy, i never found the forum until i had this account stu

The original forum was a rolling one and not in the format it is now.
Every sport was posting at the same time on one page and it was completely chaotic.
You'd have say a Merseyside Derby on, Cheltenham festival, a golf major etc. all fighting for the same bit of space.

A page would drop off in about ten minutes!

what a mare to keep up with slippy

The glasgow centre for the terminally pished

It was madness but a lot of fun looking back!

When it was divided into categories it was still very new and people getting to understand the exchange as well as it was something completely different to us using the firms.

The forum was a novelty but it did become part of my daily betting routine to check in for various sports opinions and one still doing what that 23 years later.

Blimey !

About ten or fifteen years ago one of the regulars did a roast of the others on here with a youtube video. I will post a link if I can find it

The only youtubes i remember was jr with those spiders mating on his ceiling

I have the (dubious) honour of also having been a poster on the Flutter.com forum (the betting exchange that disappeared after BF got going properly) - their forum was like something on a ZX81 if I remember right!

Did anyone else post on there? Can't really remember it that well, as very misty memory!

FYI, that’s not me that has backed Nigel into 12.5 again! He has decent support elsewhere…..

5th for you kitten, hopefully a trade at some point

Go Nigel!!!!

lol

You're better than that tk :(

have you managed to jump ship yet? How can Nigel compete, top 6 would be a result at present

Nigel gently cruising into 3rd place in the betting, overtaking Josie when nobody is looking…..

the dozy cow probably laughs at fred leaving

Here we go, onwards and upwards……

Hope you're managing to get out on these random plunges

The cat is pulling off a masterstroke, my admiration continues

This plunge into single figures is not of my making. Cant say I’m surprised though.

The further he goes, the more the belief TK..reds will panic, public will jump on...the rest is field of sheep.
needs to escape the fake b2 tonight.

They hate saying the same person twice usually in quick succession, they did do it with babba last year though. he was b2 two days in a row and on the 3rd day voted out. now this is extremely rare in recent years, the last time that happened was fleur east, who got a b2 on the 4th and 6th elims. the year before it happened to venessa white, so for 4 years between 2019 and 2022 it never happened.

i think josie was called b2 last night coz they had already called marv and dani b2 and didn't want to make one b2 again.
so for me tonight either marv or dani will go say its dani for arguments sake, there is a strong chance it won't be josie b2 two night running even if she is in the b2, and im guessing they won't want to say marv again. that means they will say one of the others. either tony, sam or nige.
they will probably not want to say nige in all fairness coz that will motivate his army even more, which means it could be a fake sam or tony shout if they don't want to say marv again.

I've been backing and laying on the drifts and contractions for small beer, I thought he could survive another elimination round and be trading 2 10-11 for me to totally hope off the train, very happy to take him as red as the already departed @8 good luck hope all get off before the derailment

I'm still seeing this the way I did from the start, that he could have sufficient support for top 3, but never in a H2H against the other most popular.

My red on N.F. is grotesque, and as has been said that him in a H2H with others, he's big odds against.

Poll at the bottom of the page. Look at the number of votes…..

old poll from when we had a full camp, probably many voters not watching the show, I clicked on the latest Mail story from the camp, it was about nick leaving, no poll but when you get down to the coments section  and click on the most liked posts and scrol through them Nigel does not get a mention.

TIMBER!!!

your making bums squeak, meeooow

It's a great opportunity to lay and I'm taking advantage.

you must be the only one who is not max red

i spect nige's millionaire mates bought 10,000 phones and have hordes of delicious birds voting away all day like blood thirsty vampires

I've had a walk through the Train, the wheels are about to come off and the roof is on fire

army knew about the b2

when does nige go fav ?

red panic everywhere, no can lay him so the farage millions keep coming.

they want him fav for the publicity and to make ITV and the establishment look daft

no one* can lay him

Roll on the revolution TK

This is your future prime minister that you are voting for……

The one thing missing from the Farage train

[   This image is no longer available.   ]

A couple of notable comments from the Telegraph (before yesterday's show) I thought. I definitely see this as an opportunity to reflect our discontentment and contempt for the utterly spineless people in HoC right now. Even the Guardian are publishing long opinion pieces about him on the show. All bile and vicious, obviously. But also angry at itv for providing him with a platform to be successfully humanised.

I do hope Nigel gets to the final two. Not too bothered about him winning though. I think many of us, frustrated by our useless government and voting system have enjoyed casting our proxy votes for Nigel to be King of the Jungle. But let's be honest, the show is ridiculously childish – and it seems fitting that baby-man Sam should win it – not a serious politician. But great if he comes second – it would still make the point well enough-- that Nigel has a substantial loyal following among the British public and is a force to be reckoned with. And, of course, the ensuing Twitter storm would be a delight to behold.

I even installed the app on my 93yr old mum's phone (at her insistence of course) and gave Farage another five votes.
I'm fed up with soft luvvies endlessly telling everyone how "nice" we have to be, let's have a bit of actual national reality on prime time telly for once.
Humes impressed me, the girls have been...well, girly, and Sam Thompson just makes you want to punch him (of course, I wouldn't).
Farage will certainly make the final three, as for winning, who knows?
I can't help thinking ITV now realise this is the worst £1.5M they ever spent, clearly they wanted to destroy Farage politically but it's backfired spectacularly.

Why does Clive call him Farage, lol, how odd,
almost made up.

Unlucky kitten, good effort

Hope you made a few quid in the end.
