i just said that lol guaranteed to get another decent moment in the sun but with 11 in there, she comes good again when numbers drop.
By:
Still think she's their 'chosen' winner this year - but there's no need for them to push her this week, only next week...
By:
This is nothing compared to the slump she had during the series in BB, when she won it.
By:
They seen with Gio how easy it is to get a woman over the line in the final week, she'll probably hover like Sam did between 3-4. Unless frankie makes Sam cry, then we'll get a bit of 5's
![]() |
By:
Yes, the trend towards female winners in more recent history is very strong - same as the rest of the world basically, woman power!
By:
The forecast of Josie 1st Sam 2nd would be an interesting bet...
By:
yeah when things peak, if things are to be believed..Sam is on the up and Josie hovers in the background, another guess after seeing tony's clip of the trial and frankie being a grumpy git, its highly likely these two will see more trials.
i think josie got the trial before coz things were at peak dull levels and her fans wanted to see her try one. but with whiny narratives ahead its more likely we see less of josie for a bit. |
By:
Josie's best and needed path to victory is fading in front of eyes is another worry
farage vote unknown but looks weak after camp leader fail fred is getting grumpier and grumpier, the curse of the camp chef moaner is appearing, plus big fail for camp leader bellow not happy behind the scenes, bit of a girls blouse in the trials and surely a matter of time before he turns into frankie The women who appeared very weak with such strong males cast, are now making big claims for decent finishing positions by default. spears has been great after the 1st few days and dani looks like she will come with a half decent run as numbers dwindle, for me its more likely we now have two females in cyclone than josie on her own. That would have an effect on josie as my angle was banking on her being alone like Gill and Gio were at the end. |
By:
also add both Spears and Dani are GI Janes it appears in trials which does help there cause
By:
Winners like Gio probably needed to be relying on being the only woman in the vote - I don't think Josie does, anymore than Sam needs to be the last man in the vote.
By:
Dunno Stu, im starting to think i over estimated Josie's chances and under estimated Dani's chances especially once the numbers dwindle, they will both shine in there own ways when we have 8/7/6/5 left, but i get the feeling Dani will smash every thing she faces. Im not feeling that same confidence with Josie.
The eastender support has proved massive on this in the past, which sought of p1sses over a this morning audience of old fogey's. both looking good for cyclone as it stands, one is on the up, one is on the slide. I wouldn't be shocked to see a coming together of these two in the market by the time of the 1st elimination. i think its naive to make this a two horse race, when the final consists of 3. josie as funny as she's been, is not offering much more..whereas Dani has just come from a massive story line in eastenders that is fresh in the memory. So yeah if Sam does go clear in the market i can easily see josie and dani locking horns at some point. |
By:
Would i be right in thinking Charlie Brooks had a similar approach in the jungle to what Dani has done so far ?
By:
All that depends on whether they fade Dani away and highlight Josie in the edits final week. I wouldn't bet against that.
By:
very possible but that is a week away, all im saying is the market needs a final 3 and dani is far from a weak one
By:
She's already been edit-faded once in this series. It could easily happen again, then she barely even makes top 3 or 4.
I backed her early on too. |
By:
nah, not having that...The males were all in the running then, they are all wilting big time. Dani outlasts them all
By:
fred, farage, bellow and frankie look bored out of there minds when around camp, they like to be active in there jobs probably...there heads are getting destroyed by Sam. So step in Dani to the void
By:
There's always the case ITV have a feeling they won't be able to stop Sam from winning. So Josie making the top 3 fills there needs enough, to give her a decent job. I guess we'll find out next week to see if josie gets the full works but for now i can't see them bothering to much.
By:
The iac market is rife with insiders so perhaps Sam romped the leadership vote. From what we know, the insiders are neither subtle or particularly sophisticated. Not sure I would interpret that as completely analogous to a vtw, but of course you would rather have the info than not.
By:
Wouldn't be shocked if he did coz of massive fanbase v dwindling viewers, sure he shares 3.4 million followers with his mrs
By:
It has bugger all to do with that, he's just out there winning it and the best camper
By:
If he was a dullard with 3.4m followers he'd be 150/1
By:
army, if you think having the two girls there is a big neg for Josie (I'm not sure of that myself), then it also makes no sense for Dani shortening in the market either at present - her vote will be massively hit by Josie being there, for sure.
By:
I think it will have a massive factor, especially for Josie's chances with such a weakened fanbase compared to dani and sam.
figs were 4.8 million the other night, thats the lowest audience ever for an oz show. who do think scraped Gio over the line by a gnats knob ? it was the shared millions of followers she had with hubby, you really think if Gio had the same about of followers she would of won. don't be a bellend brushy. The millions of people missing hits the likes of josie the worse, there is a reason there called fanbases...they turn up watch and support !! josie is missing out on a significant amount of the pond she would of otherwise captured with her likeability and humour |
By:
Could well be but they don't go from 4 to 2 on the basis of a half good edit. He's not done anything different to the past week. That vote was always going to shift prices. You sense however that there is confidence behind it, reminiscent of the moves that come along with the real vote insider knowledge.
By:
If ratings remain like this stu, then dani goes close to 2nd
By:
yes cider, this morning early on he was smashed in relentlessly like someone had just got wind of the vote
By:
you really think if Gio had the same about of followers as josie she would of won.
By:
Giovanna will always reside in the inexplicable category of specials outcomes. If I remember rightly, she showed up really well on the sun online polls. But not on the actual shw!
By:
Endless celebrity friends was the other factor cider
By:
How much have you unloaded from your original pick of Josie now then army?
By:
My green on Josie was simply marvellous. I used to pop into the market every now and then just to gaze lovingly at it and it made me feel all cosy and warm.
Now, not so much. ![]() ![]() |
By:
Sam biggest, then Dani, josie 3rd biggest at Mo
the plan will be to level green them for the final week, depending on edits ofc if sam gets the bullying story line, then he probably wins very easily |
By:
lol slippy, don't you trade on the edits ?
By:
Not really Army, I'm just a part timer on these special markets really and I only got involved in this one as me and Nigel were mates at school.
I've got a very good book as things stand but I've only played a monkey or so and will win whatever happens but nowt to write home about, just a bit of light hearted fun to take my mind off other betting stuff. Best of luck with your punts. |
By:
ok slippy, thanks. looks like im in for the slog to get my wage lol, far from done yet. Sam stretching clear over the next few days would make it easier to wrap this up though.
By:
Personally think it's a mistake keeping Dani ahead of Josie as green - they're biding their time just to bring her home next week. Just little snippets every now and again enough to keep Josie ticking over.
I liked Dani and backed her first this year, but that was at 17.0 so not interested in current prices given what could go on with Sam and Josie as the title fight... |
By:
Josie is a classic case that it's never a good idea to take the eye off the ball in these things
By:
I don't think either Josie's popularity or her centrality with ITV is going away anytime.
By:
Sam could still pose a challenge, but I think he's the only one.
