Some managed some pretty big prices on Farage to get top 3 - that might turn out to be the best bet of this series I'd say, even if he doesn't get over the line to win this.
By:
It's not that straight forward is it. No doubt it is a positive, however it is not a vote to win the series.
If Farage does succeed, who knows, it won't be due to his form on the show, which no doubt heavily editor influenced has been quite poor. So I take a nonsense surprise app vote as inconsequential where he is concerned. If he was to get to the final, his vote would turn out. Getting there was always going to be the hard bit once he wasn't proving himself to be a great campmate. |

I can see Sam's appeal for sure btw, but it must be heavily influenced by kids. So most likely lots of vocal stuff on SM. As is so often the case, it is not clear whether his price is influenced by insiders or the true market perception of his chances. I personally would not put him at 1/2, due to his not inconsiderable negative traits, and likelihood to have his popularity overestimated on the interne.

By:
Kids vote has obviously increased, but surely the vote is still dominated by the mems. They are bored and have phones too
By:
Andy vs Jossa was a bit like that, he was a bit of a village idiot and I'm sure miles clear on sm measures. And the sensible runner with more depth, who hardly featured on the show pipped him on the line.
By:
The mems dominated once again in bb, the winner was their choice of son, best part of double the entertainer character
By:
Sure, Sam will have some appeal with older ones. But it strikes me he has that personality that gets the younger ones that live on SM very giddy. I used to think it was funny moving around traffic cones when I was very young (grew out of that last year). It's just a question of what weighting we apply to that (and insider cash).

By:
Oh, i do think there has been mem drift from sam to bellew. After the tash came off he looks like a big baby lol
By:
Sam they would take to Magaluf, they would have Tony's babies.
By:
Meh, it's rarely about sex appeal
By:
Certainly not with these two
By:
True, but Tony has other things going for him. I would make it summat like 11-8 each of two, very hard to split.

Check out the poll towards the bottom of this page. Look at the numbers!

Lol, it's the daily gestapo

I hope that's where the Farage backer gets his confidence from

Not an impartial poll obv, but
The right-of-centre Daily Mail is the UK’s biggest newspaper by circulation, and it also runs the most popular news website in the UK, with an average daily readership of approximately 2.180 million. Between 2019 and 2020, it attracted more than 218 million unique visitors per month. By those impressive statistics alone, it deserves a place on any list of the best news websites to follow. |
By:
We're never gonna see a decent poll on this, apart from the app vote. On the actual app vote we know he lost to sam despite paper articles saying he was fav to win that vote
By:
And that didn't even have an anti vote
By:
Sam's bird and a doctor was on this morning earlier, obviously a big ADHD ramp but what i found hilarious was ITV deramping Sam in a nice way ofc by showing the exact piece of film i was on about, the part where Sam is cooking and he throws the log on purpose into the fire and runs around holding the meat. with the others telling him to calm down.
that was quite significant if you ask me, without doubt his worst moment of the series along side the dig he had at jamie over crying wolf. obviously the doctor came out with some sh1t explaining it...but why on earth would ITV go out of there way showing that clip ?? |

Gotta fill in airtime somehow. They should do a doc on you and your fruities

Infamously (and luckily for me) The Sun poll identified the popularity of Gio, when she was invisible on the show at the time. I gave up looking for one on there this year though.
By:
That Gio thread is very informative and relates to how this could play out
By:
Sun poll excellent on bb, but will be linked to the farage society this time. Might be worth checking who is second
By:
highlights the fact that entertainers are always fav over a nice person, so Sam being fav is no shock whatsoever. would happen 100/100 but would only win maybe 60% of the time at a guess. give or take a few %
By:
But then if we are saying sam is getting loads of kids votes it may miss those. Jot an issue on the bb poll
By:
Not. Jot wasn't a problem
By:
Sam's domain will be SM, tony's not so much but the latter is still smashing it like Gio was, tony has hidden vote, fecking tons of it, northern chunks
By:
I'm fully cashed out and will likely stay so, but Tony is clearly the value at 5s
By:
An example of underestimated support:
when there's a brash youngster getting support but there's an older, wiser, mature, decent chap who appeals to the over 30s - Tony; when there's someone with an external campaign to win but also has attraction for those wishing to make a political point (especially if they are "shy Tory voters") - Nigel. An example of overestimated support: when it appears someone is being given a coronation and people lose motivation to actually vote for them - Sam. Anyway I think Sam is probably the correct fav but then again a Tony Nigel T2 wouldn't surprise me. |
By:
Maybe more important than all that - 1.54 - insiders?

Lemmings
By:
the lemmings were the ones piling into Tony at short odds because of a few tweets from 68% male dominated Twitter
By:
The lemming were the ones who backed fred from 7/1 into 1/2 and he stayed
By:
I've been backing Sam at short odds Henry. Don't think I'm a lemming personally. At least that's not what my p+l shows
By:
law of averages says your're a huge lemon then clyde
By:
I've not backed him today, last night and the day prior to that. I don't back in the same size as I used to (I consider myself retired) so it's not my money moving the market. He's always been my best or second best result.
By:
Tony isn't just popular on twitter, he's arguably more popular on female dominated facebook
https://www.facebook.com/reel/3472597032990182 https://fb.watch/oNyKiqG_7N/ I don't think Louise Sian , Helen Grimshaw, or the hundreds of other comments are from middle aged male punters |
By:
Tony is a small loser overall and a +ve result on BF. the rest, unless it's boring Marv, I can live with. Marv would hurt.
By:
At these prices it's just a no brainer to have tony bigger green. Double sam for me now
By:
Say farage gets third ... Where do those votes go in hth? Those that vote again will be 70% tony imo
