Problem with deramping him entirely is that his voters won't give a sh1t what those kind of programmes say.

Matt getting 3rd was deserved, great at trials and made a real effort in camp..he literally changed public opinion of him.
farage ain't winning any randoms over at all, he's totally reliant on his fanatics. if he beats bellow or dani to 4th i'll be gobsmacked but top 3 is not happening

The more they do it, the more it will fire his voters up when it's VTW. It's no different to anti Trump sentiments in the media, fires up his voters to go vote.

his voters are die hard, they were always going to vote regardless of him getting a bit of sh1t..its more to make sure any randoms know he's a complete wrongun and if you support him you're a wrongun.
the look on the presenters faces in both this morning and loose women is one of complete disgust at the mention of his name.

They don't want a single fence sitter siding with him and are making it very obvious

farage will struggle massively in the under 20 age bracket anyway

I imagine injustice and bad edits increase veracity of desire and quantinty of votes personally.

Shows like TM despise their own audience, never mind people that don't follow their woke agenda.

Personally I feel Farage has been disappointing on the show. I cannot believe how naïve he has been, giving them an opportunity to screw him over like that 25% nonsense.

I can't see that he has done anything wrong to anyone (as usual), he has been the person attacked and b1tched about (as usual), by the producers, via And & Dec, and the other people in there.

correct cider, and he's getting slaughtered for it on itv daytime tv LaughLaugh

It is not quantifiable how much his 'hidden' support will translate into voting every day. I remain sceptical, in spite of how good it would be to wipe the smirks off the arrogant tw@ts presenting and putting the show together. Installing the app and voting every day for 10 days, for a show that you neither watch or care about in significant numbers. Still seems a stretch way too far, to me.

Funnily enough army, there will a very large number of people who used to be the catchment for daytime shows before they got ruined, and became impossible to watch. They would not go near twatter, but hate what the country has become. For things like what he alluded to yesterday, a certain ideology that seeks to be offended at something as stupid as having the wrong hairstyle or the wrong name for food. Ever changing 'rules' permitted language. The voting pool is there to be tapped into for sure.

The seed planting and the way they portray him as the villain in virtually every scene they discuss is virtually illegal tbf, its just so blatant how desperate they are to get him beat.
the stitch ups will continue, i just don't think enough casuals are or will be that bothered enough to vote for him..even though they can see what is going on. they will be too invested in Josie or Sam's humour whichever they fancy rather than get involved in stupid politic/woke conversations that most can't stand to hear about.

Open dialogue and discussion is the way civilization has evolved. Farage merely talked about cultural appropriation in an intelligent manner and within moments they were making him out to be racist LaughCry The irony is they are bullying him and stunting open dialogue.

example being, i had to rewind that one with nella yesterday and watch it back twice i think to fully understand it coz 1st time i couldn't give a feck what they were on about lol difference is im betting on it so had too go back.
i guarantee most watching thought same, asking there partner watching, what were they on about..feck knows partner says, oh well. both carry on watching waiting for something fun to happen.
These convo's just go over people's heads, you gotta be really invested into that crap to take notice and then vote on it. what % of the audience is doing that ?
By:
armagnac
When: 29 Nov 23 15:37
people watching bugs crawl on people could not give one feck about anything sensible, its the wrong audience.
you need question time AR

Nella thinks you can't dress up as a Mexican if going to a fancy dress party. It's offensive apparently. She needs to join the real world Laugh If a Mexican came to her fancy dress party dressed as a Brit, would she be so high and mighty? Is it just picking and choosing as Nigel said?

farage backers think this is a general election and farage will become prime minister Crazy

That was particularly evident in Jamie. As there is online credibility to be seen as being anti racism, even when there isn't any. That nonsense term cultural appropriation has nothing particularly to do with race. One of strongest West Indian accents I've ever heard was the silky tones of Tony Cozier (RIP).

The mexican thing was ludicrous and nella needs too f off, that i agree but im not voting for farage coz of it. Sam gets my vote coz he's a damaged puppy, actually no josie said smelly sh1t so i'll vote her.
casuals wont give two hoots about farage being right

Casuals will agree with Nella, as this is how the world is going. Critical thinking way out of the window for many!

Online maybe, Angela. But not in the real world. Not yet, anyway. One of the upsides of doing the work that I do is that I get to talk to a lot of intelligent people who are younger than me. Most of them think it's nonsense as well, if you are communicating with them privately.

They know they would be othered from their social groups if they vocalised things like I do. So they simply play along for the easier life. Whereas, unsurprisingly, I don't give a flying fook!

Believe it or not army, many many people will portray a profile of themselves on twatter etc, which is not analogous to what they actually think. Pretty sure that is the case for many on here too. But as I've alluded to, it seems a stretch way too far for me to translate into a winning vote for Farage on this. He has simply not done enough to win motr people over.
