Not just the trials, but they are a pale imitation of what they once were. Now it's a variation of having bugs and fish dropped on them or eating them. It has of course evolved over time from effectively cbb in a jungle studio to scripted reality. They also seem to get looked after off camera much more than in the past.

BB is the show that basically spawned IAC - yet now the child has become far more the stronger of the two shows commercially.
Something to do with celebs I suppose, though BB did celebs first too. |

Hardly involved in specials now, I only got interested in this due to Farage. Xmas #1 is the only event I still fully commit to. Ukraine was a massive opportunity in EV last year due to the war, but I don't do any of the build up otherwise.
A combination of the broadcasts becoming unwatchable, and not being able get bets down. |

Always relative to price isn't it. Farage is still way shorter than I took, but I don't see him getting involved at the pointy end so I took the profit a long while ago. For me there were far worse prices like Dani, Fred and Nick. Dani especially, people getting very excited about the part she played in a trial before it actually started for real. She was always destined to be a background character in the play.

My ideal position for Farage to finish would be 3rd - so the market is predicting he may be close to that, if he scrapes past Fred.
Win a top 3 bet, and of course pick up all my win lays against him that way - so would be pleasant finishing position from him. |
